Anyhow,, use the male you like the look of
I meant: Your "gene pool" not "the gene pool"
Doc,
I think you are thinking of the words trifoliate which means 3 leaves, trifoliolate indicates 3 leaflets on a stem, but it is a form of whorled or spiral phyllotaxy.
utter tosh, and from a mentor this saddens me. try looking to see what the male passes on and how it recombines again presuming a singular male was/is used. now do you see TOM et al the alledged educated are passing on bad practice, how are poeple meant to learn......
i'm only a "mentor" (lol) because they made me one! get over it. we each bring different perspectives to the table of discussion... it's just that ours may be different to yours... that's what makes us individuals.
Hope this helps
"My" own gene-pool of cannabis seeds ALWAYS go out for FREE kids! so get a grip and f-u to any player-haters!

THE REAL SEED COMPANY said:Genetics: Traditional Southeast Asian Ganja Cultivar
Type: Pure Landrace
Variety: Native Indochinese "Kansha" Indica
Height: up to 2 metres
Harvest Date: November-December
Flowering: 14 - 18 weeks
Characteristics: Very large seeds with thick shells.
This is an unusual and aromatic "kansha" (ganja) variety from the Golden Triangle region of Lao. It is cultivated by the Akka people who originate in the Yunnan region of South China. This strain is part of the "Yunnanese Indica" genepool. Cannabis researchers have recently suggested that all cannabis drug cultivars (both sativa and indica) could have originated from this landrace region in Yunnan.
These are vigorous plants with surprisingly dense buds, abundant trichomes and intense aromas of spearmint, catnip and citrus. This is a drug cultivar which smokes very smoothly and produces a very mild, moderate stone. Flowering tips are also used in medicine and traditional cuisine. It is a strain for every serious collector to preserve and investigate further. It has very large seeds with thick shells.
where am i supposed to start?
I have not personally seen hundreds or thousands of progeny in a progeny test from ANY of the seed producers.
nvisionary, you had a good point, but you kinda ruined your hopes to change anything with your unrespectfull mr. knowitall attitude.
Would be interesting to know more about you and your work, you certainly know lot about breeding.
...Oh, and if you don't want me to buy seeds from bay, can you tell me where I can get your OP-seeds? Or should we all just stop buying seeds and growing?
PS. Just for the record, I use all good looking males I have when making seeds. If I don't know what males to select and why, I use all of them.
I have done "1:1" also, but those seeds are for growing sinsemilla, not for breeding.
I don't see your point ? Chimera hasn't answered the questions so what conclusions can be drawn ? the other person who the thread starter asks about has! and the said person has not defended Chimera as thats for himself to do...for those wonderin about nvisionary:
