could be,this round of plants suffered a bit from a bad batch of medium...and of course leaves do get funky on occasion...and the phone camera doesn't like led light much,the pics won't color correct properly,and at this stage i'm not dragging the good camera out...

week 4/3...don't think this round will do as well...these plants just weren't vegged long enough...on the other hand they are putting on the frost earlier and heavier...in a few days i will have some 125w cfls to hang in the led room to add some heat...


probably should have vegged these plants in place for a couple of weeks like i did in the mars hydro tent...

forgot to update last week...week 6/5 now...definitely not breaking any personal gpw records on this run...looks to be pretty frosty however...next run i will be adding some more lighting to keep the temps up...

that's going to depend on the light,leds can be very intense but they also need to be run fairly close to the canopy to get the best results...


the panels i have run about 500w,for flower i run them at about 20-24 inches about the plants so i have good coverage over a 4x4 area.at that height i still get a little yellowing on the plants directly under the center of the panel.




but i also have a mars hydro panel in a different space..and a different thread...that panel is more like 18 inches over the canopy...it's 450w so not significantly less powerful...


and i have a member built led in veg that's only i believe 245w hanging 30+ inches above the plants and turned down because that light is like a light saber and would fry the plants any closer or turned all the way up...

Gotcha, my viperspectras I can almost have touching a bud with little effect besides fox tailing and the light area is smaller. Lit it up for like 10 minutes can definitely see the QB putting out more heat then the blurples.
