The funny thing is, if he made even a half assed attempt at being a reasonably decent and honest person he could have had everything he tries to get thru scheming and gaming the system, plus so much more. He could have actually been the well liked President he imagines himself to be and he probably could have easily been re-elected to a 2nd term in 2020. Alas no, he had to be the Trump we've all come to know and want nothing to do with and so here we are.

The only thing hilarious is the idea the polls mean anything. If polls were as accurate as you want them to be Hillary Clinton would have defeated Trump easily in 2016. All polls are good for are swaying the opinion of people incapable of forming their own opinion. You know, it's funny the way so many Trump supporters say they don't care about hush money paid to a porn star. How about a candidate foolish enough to pay thousands of dollars and risk his chances at an election to hush someone that his supporters all say they could care less about? I mean a lot of Trump supporters claim they voted for Trump because how good he is with money, spending money to do something unnecessary doesn't seem like being good with money.

And thats the truth of it. Theres no way the gop will nominate him a second time and risk losing 2024. But at the very least all this indictment will do is make a huge chunk of independent voters turn right, and the swing voters have the final say on elections.
