The Rokerij coffeshop closing down

the Rokerij at the Singel -Brauwersgracht location was still there in 2014 but closed up and abandoned looking.
why can't that space get taken over?
i dont get it...

Have had some very enjoyable moments at the closed down Smokery.... True Gezellig.
