Harry Browne was the last real libertarian to run for the party ( http://www.lp.org ) and he's the only 3rd party candidate to ever get on the ballot in all 50 states.
Even Ron Paul while I agree is "somewhat" libertarian, he also drew a government paycheck for 20 years?
Then again I guess you could call me a "rabid libertarian" who believes you either is or you ain't, you can't be "somewhat" for the constitution and freedom, you are either all in or all out.
Wish it were that direct. No one is saying they voted for Trump because the Russians tricked them into it. The Russians tricked them into believing some bullshit, which may or may not have led their vote toward Trump. None of this would have worked against a candidate with a pulse. Garbage against garbage and a little tip one way or the other could make the difference.
The critical point is in the Senate Intelligence Committee report just released - Russian hackers gained access to voting systems in all 50 states. Slight changes in a few places could swing a close election, but they don't need to change a single vote to achieve their goals. Knowing it is possible will shake confidence in the process and suppress turnout.
Education will help with the being tricked into believing some bullshit part.

Most conservatives watch Fox news and maybe follow Breitbart. How Fox News portrayed Hillary Clinton followed by Wikileaks hacked emails is what swung the election.

Im pretty sure no votes where changed by Ruusia.. The minds of many people that where unsure could have been manipulated by the Russian propaganda machine on Social media. If someone is on the fence whom to vote for and sees all this fake bad shit about a candidate it could make them vote for the other.. Those that where voting for xxx could be manipulated to vote for BBB when they see the fake BS all over Social media.
More people use Facebook and other social media platforms then watch fox news.
Why would you think this is far fetch from being a reality.. We do know that Russia did this.. We will never know how many if any where manipulated.

So the 2020 election goes to Trump because they need a populist in power when they crash the economy. Trump is the modern day Hoover. Look up Hoover's polices and note how Trump seems to be using the same playbook. History repeating...
When the financial bubble pops Trump and the populist will be blamed. The introduction of hardcore socialism as the preeminent American ideal would be a much easier sell at that point.
So 2024 and beyond is when the Squad or at least their insane policies will be in charge to finish off the country and turn it in to the hell hole liberals so desperately want. Sorry it's going to be at least another 5 + years before you get all that shiny new free stuff.
