I bought my NYC Diesel Auto seeds on eBay, but they didn't come from China & didn't cost a dollar lol. And the seeds were absolutely dank. Tiny & oddly shaped so I was skeptical, but they produced amazing frosty buds. Seed size & shape doesn't mean much when it comes to cannabis. As long as it's not white & immature or old & dusty it could contain a treasure...or not. Only way to know is to grow it out.

You can definitely find some good stuff if you know how to search the auction sites. eBid is even better I wonder if these are industrial hemp or actual marijuana seeds? (The "color selections" are crap. Hemp is literally the same genus & species as marijuana: Cannabis sativa, L. Same plant. Doesn't come in magical colors like they're advertising. The difference is the THC content & appearance which are only different because marijuana has been selectively bred for desirable traits. Industrial hemp can grow to 15+ feet outdoors). :O

At worst, you might get some foreign hemp genetics to play around with. Which is cool. I see nothing wrong with spending a few bucks on this.

To those thinking they are getting high grade cannabis seeds that cheap, these sales could be seen as a bad thing. But honestly anyone that thinks they are getting 100 top shelf seeds for $1.45 probably aren’t in the best situation to growing in the first place.

Now for me I could care less if they turn out to be nothing more than hemp because then I could spread them a round my area and watch as patches of hemp grow and adopt “wildly” and take resources away from local LEOs if they would even care. To me seeing these growing along the side of the road would just be another step towards normalization of this plant.

I somewhat like the idea of seeing hemp grow across the countryside.... However, I wouldn't want those plants in a 20 mile radius of any primo outdoor grows. ( And that's probably not enough distance) Cross pollination would be a major concern.

Based on the above results, 115 cannabis varieties could be divided into 4 groups mainly according to the geographical distribution: Northern China, Europe, Central China and Southern China.

so depending on the sources, theres a lot of gems to be found!

Our results showed that 100 hemp varieties from China could be classified into 3 distinct clusters, and that the 3 clusters were consistent with the cool temperate, warm temperate, and subtropical zones in China, respectively. These indicated that the climate, created by latitude, temperature, and day length, is a key factor affecting the germplasm diversity of hemp. Although the three clusters from China were physically closer, hemp in Northern China had a greater similarity coefficient with European hemp than with the other two clusters. This is most likely because these two regions are at similar latitudes, and thus have similar climatic conditions. The varieties from Heilongjiang and Yunnan provinces were individually classified in clusters IA and IVA (Figure 2), perhaps owing to the higher latitude (i.e. the colder environment) and low latitude plateaus, respectively.

I guess you didn't actually read this thread then because I have numerous posts in it. I have a lot of posts in the outdoor and indoor threads. 98% of my lifetime posts on here are about growing.

I was one that posted that. I went and looked again and it now does read medical marijuana seeds. It definitely was only the persons name when I looked before. Sorry for the misinformation but it did change. I didn't care if it was mentioned but I know many other people would care.
