the 2ml/TEN gallons rate is for 'about to be used' water. I know in hydroponic systems the bleach will get used up/dissipate quickly so people add back a certain amount to their E&F, DWC, NFT whatever res each day. Krunchbubble is the man to ask about that I only have experience with coco.

5ml/gal is waaaaay too much. i saw the thread where people were recommending that... i checked tons of posts and then PMd Krunch to get the proper doses. forums are 80% BS and 20% real info, gotta read everything and sift through the BS.

Hey DreadNeck, love the thread and inspired me to make some teas. One thing I gotta know is when to stop the teas in flower. I'm at week 3 now and not sure how long to give them you act mix.

May u never get the root slime. U will hate that aerocloner then. U using a sanitizer or tea in there?

I got slime using bubble cloners but the roots don't hang in water now and I haven't had any in 6 months with a aerocloner. I made it out of a 14 gal coleman cooler. After a run I use 75% tap with 25% bleach for a few days then a few more days of straight tap, 2 or 3 water changes. No fear of slime if I keep it clean. To root I use my well water with 2ml/gal of KLN. KLN cuts the number of days over straight water and makes a better looking rootmass. Roots in 6 days, always 100%, I let them stay in 10-12 days to get a thick mass of roots. Works great, no domes, no misting, awesome looking clones ready to go. if it stops working great then it's on to method #67:biggrin:

My oldest WBK mom. been in this same pot over a year closer to 20 months really, flowered out and revegged 3, times going in for run number 4. over a year in the pot and multiple toppings. this is as much branching as this one does lol

Dropping my NL mom into flower for a seed run. this one has been in the same pot maybe 8 months i think. been revegged 2x, bout to flower for the 3rd time. i started to break up the roots before i thought to take pics of what a "rootbound" plant looks like.

Those of you running drip systems, how much H2O are you pushing through your plants per day? Or how often are you watering? I have 1 minute incremental timers, seems my plants are always wet. Should I let them dry? I have great yields, my roots just aren't exploding yet.

i'm using a mix that's 70%+ coco. so i keep mine moist as possible without being soggy wet. i start with a 2 minute watering at lights on then 1 minute for the next 3 hours then 1 minute every 2-3 hours alternating till lights off. about 8x1 minute waterings a day or so.

who me? white roots is a myth. if you grow in dirt your roots are gonna be a dingy brown color. i dunno where you live but they're only white when they're new.
