Pure Thai Seeds?

The kerala will have a close resemblence to a thai IMO. I have 9 kerala babies in my tent now. The dude who did the open pollination of kerala also did the highland thai that rsc has. Hes fishing around this thread im sure hehe.
Ive grown out the malana and nanda (have a few nanda babies sprouted right now too) and the high is more of a relaxed light high, what i would assume is different than most thais. I think, but in no way am sure, that the nepal strains are a lower thc, with a touch more cbd strain.

Edit- your post already talks about thc cbd attributes. So ya, i agree

Also- more is better, by all means support nhamka and buy 500. I buy a couple packs max and open pollinate, then have 100s or more to play with. Another idea for searching these more rustic offerings.

Someone mentioned in another thread roving through seeds to chase a particular trait and this had me wonder .. even with a Seedsman Thai/Skunk cross is it not possible, in the scheme of genetics, for the skunk to remain recessive and the Thai to be 100% of it's expression (assuming one trudges through the genepool of seeds)?

This Nepal theme keeps popping up as to where the original Thai Stick of the 60's wandered off to on a commercial level and is now wildly populating the mountains.

no offense to anyone, I'm not a fanboy, but I do not believe the info given by ghs about the genetics of their products...especially about that laos:with all that tropical sativa genetics you should see plants with very long flowering, with very thin leaves, absolutely not ideal for indoors...this is only my point of view....

Absolutely no bag appeal, so it was funny watching disappointed looking friends turn white after half a spliff.

Yes lovely strong bud, but I always thought it could do with taming for indoor growth.... outdoor it would produce some massive trees.
Indoor , a cross with nl or dc would be interesting

Also worth remembering that gh is a seed producer/seller.... most strains are bred by other breeders then mass produced by ghs.

Instead of HPS using indoors you could go for CDM 315 W or Cree led 3590 3500K.The blue in these lights will tame sativa's far more than HPS.
Cross it with an indica strain shall give more a stoned effect unless you can breed it to a more kind of Neville's Haze.

No,my experiences with WOS germination ratio are bad....but i had look on web her plants,thai and columbian,and you can find some pheno from nld long flowering sativa to mostly indica type.
My opinion is that many thai strain of today coming from the super thai x skunk from highquality seeds,a seedbank of late '90,now closed....

Ok...I can understand a low rate could make someone leery about the seed source. I'm less convinced that the mixing of skunk into so many things, means that it's definitely mixed into everything.

I see they have an auto version, but not feminized...perhaps Seedsman did that on their own? (Edit: my bad. "Feminized" is kind of hidden and that's what theirs are; again, I don't think the ones I have are.)

Wild Thailand will probably be the next thing I try in about a week or so; we'll find out soon if this year's batch is a poor germinator.

Wild thailand finished in like 10 weeks for me. Blah. I got some columbian freebied from them, im in no rush to hop on em. I did like the morrocco though, but for sativa type landraces id never trust em. 10 weeks for a thai is bullpoo. It did have that peppery swampy smell of a thai though.
Kerala is close to thai imo.
Sinai is nothing like thai, but one of my favorite strains. Quick finisher, heavy yeilder of semi fluffy buds with a perfumey incense smell.
Malana was a light high (which i like). They get huge, no more than a 2 gallon pot indoors) and are finiky to grow.
Oldtimer haze, i have yet to pop these beans, but if you want a crazy sativa, this would work. Be patient, they go long.
I just grew ethiopian, it seems true to its name and fairly unworked. A light citrus smell, light to medium resin. Honduras i think would be the same thing. Pretty legit and unworked. Most of aces and cannabiogen are true to its name, but worked so many generations, too many IMO. Dumbed down is the word i use for em, but good none the less.
As stated earlier, outside of hawaiian snow, id pass on grennhouse and world of seeds.
That madala congo sounds interesting, but ive never heard of it, and no nothing about it. The harmony, same thing, sounds cool
Theres a few cool choices in your list. I say buy em all and show em to us lol

I gave a few to my wifes son this year. They turned out amazing. Reminded my why ive been sitting on em for so long. Just wish they werent femmed.

The goal here is to find the 100%, untampered, Thai strains with those special, soaring, seering, synesthesia, trippy, psychedelic genetics Tangwena's famous thread is after.

Hopefully this thread inspires commercial seed providers to hop on a plane and travel by donkey to make these wonderful genetics available again without watering the genetics down with short-cycle indicas and other continents since it seems there is an agenda to disappear the highest highs of sativa and couch-lock the globe.

To start I discovered Mama Thai with Seedsman is crossed with Skunk for example so I am not interested in that style Thai.

I will list names/breeder/links so in the event someone has knowledge of said strain then those are seeds worthy of ordering immediately.

What is it that makes Thai so special? THCV gives African strains that high energy but what is it in the Thai? High CBN and THCV? CBG?

I realize there are other seed websites so please if you know of other providers/strains I will add to this list but for the sake of debate right now I am scouring Seedsman.com to launch the search for something on order today. Again I am excluding all Thai with skunk crosses (Blue thai, purple haze x thai, etc) and if I listed one that does not fit the bill let me know.

As an aside Seedsman was offering a "Thai" strain, separate from their Mama Thai, available in 100 seed pack, that is now removed from the website in the last 48 hours or so. Why?
