my guess is this pure #landrace #columbiangold came to the region with #coca producers from #Columbia in the 80s when the columbian government cracked down on cartels and they moved to #peru and #Bolivia where to my knowledge has been untouched since


there is a diversity from chocolate, woods and #roadkillskunk. very pungent either way. but looking for the skunkers for my road-kill project I revived last year after taking a 10 year break.

I can't comment on this particular thread since I've never to my knowledge grown it. Smoked what was called Col. Gold many times back in the day. Was it pure, I have no idea.

Had a Mexican connection in the early 70's and visited the farm several times. This was about the time that sinsemila was better understood. What I learned from this family farm proved invaluable to growing weed. From breeding, to selection and especially keen observation.

We grew decendents of this weed for more than a decade, all outdoors. Some years we were able to finish the plants properly but most years not. Growing at 40N can be tricky mid October on.

As Solar mentioned, pictures were not usually taken, but those I still have show the long narrow leaf and explosive vigor these plants had. After 50 plus years of growing, the high has never been duplicated. From giddy to full blown laughter, never a come down.

Picture is a Mountain Gold from Vman stock. Plant is just into flower. This shows many of the traits of the long since gone Mexican weed. Smoke is excellent but never will be as good.

Why do I bring all this up? Simply to say, hybridization from man and nature will never allow us bring back the good old days. Pure, unaltered weed might not exist.

I've been locked up a few times in my youth. Getting caught with drugs on me. This was the extent of my crimes. I was not locked up in a supermax for drugs lol.

In the American prison system, it is designed to house both inmates described as the most-hardened criminals and those who cannot be controlled through other means.. I'm not sure how Canada classifies Supermax.
