A quote from Martin Luther King Jr.
"Ordinarily, a person leaving a court room with a conviction behind him would wear a somber face. But I left with a smile. I knew that I was a convicted criminal, but I was proud of my crime."
Eddy thank you for standing up for my civil rights.

I joined this website based off this thread alone. I'm in the DFW area in Texas and i'm down with what Zeppelin was saying. Please let me know where to go, who to write. It is time for a change and the change is now.

How did the benifit go? I gotta know.

Also have any of eddy's lawyers contacted Eric Holder. This is a big enough case to capture his attention if he is informed of it. I'm gonna see if I can find the e-mail to send eric holder a letter, then maybe we can all write him.

They have done very non-bias articles on pot in the past. The best one was called, "Is America to Pot?". They openly said, after doing proper research on the subject, they they found pot to be pretty much harmless. I think they would find eddy lepp's story very interesting.

THE MORE LETTERS TIME GETS ABOUT EDDY, THE MORE LIKELY THEY WILL PAY ATTENTION! everybody keep writing letters.

They don't really care, it is not a good public issue; that is why it is so hostile. It was never a good public issue, but it was back in the 60's. It has just been way to hostile since then, so it is very much beating a dead horse. The best form of protesting, is the silent underground cultivation and use. Other than that, it would take a massive armed take over of the countries. I am all for that as well, but it's not going to be over cannabis that anyone wins that one.

You just cannot be to vocal these days, you can but you have to snuff out your own vibe or pay the price.

^Actually, I respectfully disagree. this article was in 2002, and they are not hostile. The best form of protesting is mass movements that get stuff done. Protesting worked in the 60's because they had the numbers. Your scared sheepish attitude is not the way to get the government to stop pushing you around, and neither is violence.

IN ORDER TO WIN WE MUST ALL BE VERY, VERY VOCAL!!!!!!

I am a big fan of The Johnny Apple Seed style protest you mentioned too. Eddy just kinda did that in public view. Just put plants, and seeds everywhere you can around the globe. That seems to be GN's style.

I love Eddy. He knows that Payaso and I know why he had gone through all this pain. He wants pot legal. It's what's right and Eddy risked his freedom to make a point.

Under Prop 215 no limits were set on collective med grows. Eddy told me he wanted to test the law regarding the federal jurisdiction in California. The supreme court of USA decided the feds did have jurisdiction later on.

Now the 420 law was knocked down in court and the Supreme Court of Cali has rejected the case to back to 215.

Eddy grew a bunch right in sight of the road and it never came to harvest. He had all the people signed up with their med recommendations but the feds disregarded all that.

Mandatory miminum fed sentence is 10 years and Eddy won't flee the country. He is dedicated to the cause for many reasons but remember that Eddy is an ex vietnam vet and he is pissed off about many things like a lot of us are. His lovely wife, Linda who Mrs. BOG and I loved dearly died of Cancer not that long ago.

She was the reason for Eddy to fight. She had chemo and needed medical marijuana like to many people. I loved to smoke my herb with Linda and I remember that she felt my sour bubble was good shit. I would ask Linda not how she was in the typical way, "How are you" but instead I always asked her how she felt right now. She almost always answered, "Great"!

We are all going to die you know. Eddy and I are old enough to have realized long ago that making money isn't enough in life. Making commitments and love are what are important.

Eddy was and is ambition. He wants to change the world. I want to change the world too but I just don't have the balls to commit to a crusade as completely as Eddy has.

I told Eddy he should leave the country and so did that judge who is about to sentence him. But Eddy is resolute. Can you say you would be under the circumstances?

I bow to Eddy Lepp and say what an honor it is to have him call me friend. If you knew him and his true motivations all doubts would be forgotten. My hero. BOG
