Denver is playing San diego btw...
what makes you feel like betting is any better than a high stakes fantasy league? or daily fantasy? it's the same concept, 50/50 leagues aren't a whole lot different than betting against the spread in terms of payout(pay is the rough equivalent of betting on -110 on the spread) if anything it's a safer bet because your playing vs. a pool of random people that are not nearly as knowledgeable as line-setters and you only have to finish in the top half of the field to cash, and the rest of the guys that make sure the house always comes out on top...just how I look at it anyways, but different strokes for different folks.

Gees retro,

Although if we are talking about this year the stats don't lie, Luck is on top on most things.
Whats the line ur working off tonight retro?
Hedging bets is a waste of money if your original bet is a winner, by hedging it youre limiting your winnings. but if you lose, then by hedging it youre limiting your losses, a good thing.
just a difference in philosophy, if you were confident enough to make that first bet, why not let it ride? but just like anything else, sometimes the hedge helps, sometimes it doesnt.
but if youve been watching the game and think a second half hedge is in order, then it makes sense that you're following the flow of the game and can make an informed guess as to how the 2nd half will turn out.
do you have to be watching all the games in order to make good 2nd half bets?
He is the best QB ever to play, and he is the smartest player in the league, by far. The way he reads the defense and then audibles, it's incredible. Like Deon Sanders said at halftime, it's like having an offensive coordinator @ QB. That last touchdown came from him waiting, reading the defense, and changing the play. Incredible catch, too.
Peyton Manning is by far the best regular season qb ever so far. Always someone who comes along better but for the time being no one is better during the regular season as him yr after yr he breaks the most prestigious records and overall just wins games every week yr in yr out. Imagine how many teams will be lining up for his services when he retires from playing?
It's even more impressive when you consider that he had spinal fusion surgery on his neck. Doctors told me I needed the same operation, and I declined because it's dangerous (5% mortality rate), it takes a tremendous amount of rehab...over a year. A year in a neck brace, and no guarantee of success. Couple that with the fact that he is playing in a violent sport, and he is 38 years old,, and is still improving each year. The last two years, after a year off, he has had his best seasons. His knowledge of the game is incredible. He can stand there at the line of scrimmage, look over the defense, and immediately know what he needs to do to beat that defense. Then he changes the play, tells everyone where to line up and what's coming, and invariably he is right. He sees the open man, and gets rid of the ball so fast, that the defense is literally helpless. Imagine when the guys on defense see him looking them over, and then call the perfect play to beat what they are trying to do. Got to be discouraging for them. This guy is reading their minds, and there is nothing they can do to stop him. No other QB playing now, and no other QB in history can do what he does. Still improving every year at an age when most QBs are done. Easily the MVP of the league, and the most intense competitor I've seen. Good genes, as his father was Archie Manning, a really good QB in his day, and his brother Eli, winner of multiple Super Bowls, proving that genetics is important in making a great athlete.
Why he says "Omaha":Im starting to love the word "Omaha"
