pop/beer can's do one hell of a job when looking for a cheap alternative to risers...
If it was personal use and not for patients I would probably still have a 400. You can grow all the meds you need with that kind of light.Smiley
I'm taking my best C99 and getting 8 identical cuts, putting them into these containers...
- A - 100% coco, Liquid Light, 7 liter square container
- B - 100% coco, Liquid Light, 7.5 liter Air Pot
- C - 67% coco, 33% perlite, Liquid Light, 7 liter square container
- D - 67% coco, 33% perlite, Liquid Light, 7.5 liter Air Pot
- 1 - 100% coco, 7 liter square container
- 2 - 100% coco, 7.5 liter Air Pot
- 3 - 67% coco, 33% perlite, 7 liter square container
- 4 - 67% coco, 33% perlite, 7.5 liter Air Pot
This will allow me to figure out...
- A,B,C,D vs 1,2,3,4 (Liquid Light vs none)
- A,C,1,3 vs B,D,2,4 (Air Pots vs Square Pots)
- B,2 vs D,4 (100% coco Air Pots vs 67% coco, 33% perlite Air Pots)
- A,1 vs C,3 (100% coco Square Pots vs 67% coco, 33% perlite Square Pots)
- A,1 vs B,2 (100% coco Square Pots vs 100% coco Air Pots)
- C,3 vs D,4 (67% coco, 33% perlite Air Pots vs 67% coco, 33% perlite Square Pots)
Square pots are what I have now, and they contain more medium than round pots of the same size, so they just seem more efficient than round containers to me.
I can fit two 8 gallon Air Pots in my cabinet, I'd really like to see what kind of monsters I could grow in those. Give them a couple months veg under a screen...
I'm extremely happy with my choice of the 400w for this cabinet. A long term goal of mine for this cabinet is a 1lb harvest... I'm definitely not expecting it this round,
