day 7 of flower things are like thick bushes but thats okay one more week and all the lower will be cut away,now if i waqs to top like you do i might not have so much clearing to do,next time i will try it your way and compare the 2.blood bud was added today with res change and you can see iton the roots,stalks are really thick ecspecially on the lifesaver making it real hard to give the west coast massage to,lmao...enjoy

those look awesome. i think i would slope the tables a little bit more. it doesnt really look like they are running with the flow too much. be aware that if that is the case, and not my eyes, each corner should be 2 inches taller then its lower respective corner. you should really notice the slope when u look at them once biult and polied.
ive also found that 1250 ppm from planting to harvest works awesome. allowing it too peak a bit higher before topping as they consume more. the old school nl#5 (earely 90"s) could handle 2000ppm with a slight drift higher between top offs. plants can really handle ppm in this set up, mm

put it this way. the hole over the res is the lowest right. the furthest corner from her should be 4 icnhes higher, and the other 2 2 inches higher. this is just a general mfts standard use. my best bud is a plumber, and he use math to do his, and they dont look like mine.

wow man pretty dead in here so ill bring her alive again,first off like we have talked about in pm but thought others might want to see,when using your recipe and using week 2 flower my water is 250 ppm and after adding your recipe i get a finish ppm of 1380,so what and where do i cut her down?
the last few days the room has gone freakin crazy way over grown ,with this said i want to talk about a sealed room and humidity,my humidty has gone up a bit and i am now pulling 5 gallons a day from my dehumidfier and dehumid partof the ac,they drain to samespot,and the res has been going way down,now is this a sign that the plants are really starting to work correctly?and is this normal,im 11 days into flower now.ppmin the res started today at 1250 and an hour ago they were up to 1650 wow no burn but wow they are just going mental,lol

Really considering throwing these tables in. If it was up to me, it'd be a no brainer. 50/50 decision though. Gonna atleast try to get one table in there. Don't know if I'd have enough "med man standard clones" ready for a whole room of it anyway though. We shalll see.

hey buddy, the easiest solution is to just drain the dehu back to the res. most of your rh is transpired by your plants back into the room, out of the rez.
about your ppm, its should start at 1200-1250 every res fill. and every week i allow it to jump more ppm. so during veg they get no more then 1250. then week 1 bloom they get to peak at 13400-1350. then week 2 they made it up to 1400 this week and just exploded. northern lights and high eating strains can handle 2000-2100 peak in the mfts. the only place salt can really build up is on the hydroton and rockwool. ive never seen any salt on the root matts. but i have burnt off all the roots 1 time only adding too much bloom booster. i always let the ph swing from 5.2 to 6.2. with 5.6 being most optimal. i do the same with the ppm. the bigger they get, the more they are allowed to eat, like a frog in water slowly raisingn the heat. same exact idea. after 10 days tp 14 days, plants kick it into high gear, and start eating like crazy. i recommend 1/2 reses for first 2 weeks bloom to save water and nutes. but by week 3 and 4 they can drink 1/4 res a day. im shooting another vid tonight (day 14 bloom day 24 overall), and am taking pics for here and my blog right away. at day 9 there was full on flower clusters forming.
dont let the ppm spike too much right now. in the dark its okay but not with the lights on. keep them under 1400 till week 3, then 1600 will be okay. one of the things i really love about mfts is high ppm usually isnt an issue. keeping them a little hungry is better then too much ppm in the med-man method. even after 12-24 hours weekly water flush they explode once they get nutes again, way more then they would without the flush . its most noticeable in week 4-6 and 6 once stretching slows and buds begin to pack it on.
just remember, to have plants and roots grow inches a day, they need nutes to create that tissue. if you burn them they may stop growing for up to 2 weeks and get stunted. i know by experience ive had spg up to 1850 in mfts peak bloom period with no issues, but avoiding a mistake before you make it is essential in any grow room, especially hydrcultures like mfts.
i can already tell my guys have been a little under fed, and make it up every time the ppm creeps. i can already tell i will be getting kush nugs the size of my forearm in this space as long i a facilitate everything they need without mucking up anything.

ps, if your mft trees are growing 2-3 x in mass weekly, then they are running as they should be, no mateer what personalethod you are using with whatever strain you are running, mm

i never thought about draining the dehumid back to the rez simple enough ,another project for tomorrow.i went in today and cleaned all lower growth away and picked the best branches,heres come pics a few shots of next runs clones and then the room,if u look close u can see back part of room wasnt thinned out yet...

the med man method also calls for the removal of 2/3 of every branch today and the edition of a screen. this whole process il have completed by tomorow, all shock therapy (loving the plants) stops today too.

i swear my spg finished in like 40 days in mfts. i never took pics of them. i ran them with lui's one time anf the luis started rotting in like 45 days. its was an awesome cycle. 8.5 lb plus 1.5 pounds of rot from the lui and like 7. 75 from the spg. over all lui might have been the most efficient plant i ever ran. i just hate beasters lol. ive never cared to grow anything i dont llike to smoke.

hey man those pics are before you thinned out the branches isnt it,id like to see what they look like afterwards,last run i ran her for 9 weeks and the last 2 i dont really think they put much more weight on but the high changes alot when left till week 9,even week 10 if u can get her to go that long,i had some mold issues with her and lost approx 6-8 zips.whats the sugar coat your talking about?

Hey med man.
My life is sort of upside down right now trying to remodel and get the house insulated before real winter sets in. These pics are of 35 day old plants, BUT the first 15 days the clones were maintained in 2 inch rw cubes pruning roots as they emerged while I tried to get things done...didn't happen, so I just popped em in a table in the storage room..thats right no vents, surrounded by piles of old growing equip under a 400w metal halide. Took about 10 days for them to adjust and then they blew up, It is funny to see them now as they were really f-ed up as young-ens. Both are reservation labs crosses, the big indy sat cross is Purple Eurkel x Sugar Cane Kush, She will definitely hit the ceiling and fill 2/3 of the table with massive colas, I harvested 3/4 lb off her last run in 2.5gallon hempy bucket.That is of course the good lord willing etc...

The plant on the right is a very slow vegging kush and I really don't know the linneage of it cause it came from a mix pack. It is a wuss when it comes to pests and had some sort of mini thrip, and spidermites twice now with no sign on the other plant. I did a rotating pesticide regime and killed the bugs but she is still a bit frazzeled. The last run she produced about 1/2 zip of kill so I am hoping for her to make a good showing this run.
I am using just Ionic grow 1.8ec 5.3-5.6pH15ml of zone every time I change the nutes and 5ml every week. I have 18 gallon tote for a rez, 256gph mag drive feed, and 100 gph magdrive stirr, also an air pump blowing bubbles. I could not get decent peroxide here so I decided to make the rez like a rdwc pot. The slight calmag issue happened when I forgot to recheck pH after changing the rez, swung up to 6.5 and locked it out last week but they seemed not to mind too much. I am going to clone these today and flip em after I add a vent fan and 1000w hps.

yes they looknaked,mine are similiar but my plants are taking a wider stance from the early topping,cant wait to see your screen on and how you train themi think thats wherei could have done better the last time.thanxs for taking the time to doall this and the videos i can tell u therres gonna be alotmore mfts here in my area after showing friends,right on my man.....
