I want to switch on 2- 600w HPS ballasts ( one electronic, one magnetic). If I go with an Intermatic T101 like exosteve is talking about & wire something like this-
Husky 2 ft. Red and Black 12/3 STW 3-Outlet Extension Cord. This heavy-duty extension cord has 3 power outlets and can be used for household and job-site applications
coming out of the bottom of the timer ( after cutting off the male end). I'm I safe?
Much Thanks!
PS....I love the DIY tutorial and might go that route if there's any hint that what I'm talking about isn't top notch safe. I can do the Intermatic T101 + the 2' extension for ~$55
Hello budleydoright, great DIY. This is exactly what I've been looking for but I have a quick question. What would need to be done to adapt this light controller w/timer to run two 1000w 120v digital ballasts?
