I'mma post something that I posted on another thread:

Okay this one is kindof sad actually even though it's meant to be comedy.... But what would you do in this situation I know what I'd do...

Plus what's the point of being a vegan when you still eat things that derive from living beings, plants are also living beings, where else would bread fruits and vegetables come from?

If I hadn't tied it down it would just push up through the light...

Ahhh there you are, well obviously this is all that I could do... I have no other option here.... I also use my hands for the top part from time to time because tying another knot only kept her out of the light, you probably have it easier than me because I had to somehow fit it in with this smaller light instead of the bigger one I thought I had ordered.... Apparently I clicked on the wrong order from MarsHydro This time that wasn't a joke, I was in a hurry then.... How else am I supposed to tie this Killer female hybrid and still have it get the right amount of light....
I honestly feel like she wants to rampage through the light and reach my neighbors from above who wake her up at night, as they do me Again, the neighbors part of that is a true story, I have it on my thread from earlier pages.... Only today were they gone because they're apparently on vacation.....

Your going to have to move that light and plant to a place where the light is adjustable the plant has still got a way to go yet.

Thanks for the motivating and encouraging words, as great as that sounds, I don't know what to do about the light being this close.... What happens if (and this is just hypothetically speaking) the top bud gets too close to the light for too long, and I then trim the very very top part only? And maybe leave that top part for an extremely early smoke sample test.... I'm not talking about now but some time soon ish.....
Again Hypothetically.....
I just don't want it to get burned, and plus I don't even know what that'll do to the bud.... I'm trying to find the silver lining here obviously, there are actually at least 15 other bud sites on my plant, infact way way more....

If I were you bro I'd just go into the 10/14 or even 9/15 light dark schedule because otherwise it'd outgrow the tent..... Unless I guess if you do topping then maybe just 10/14 light/dark, it's not still on 12/12 is it? Again nothing wrong with doing a 12/12 run the whole way, but that'll mean lots of yeild and buds (which is the very good news), zero space for them to be kept in though (the very bad news), and many many months before the final harvest.... at least according to what I've seen on all KA5H grows even outside of the site icmag....

What's even worse is that they have two new dogs louder then themselves right now, and the good news is that the dogs are rampaging their apartment word has it I want to applauded the dogs for such an excellent job, hopefully they don't have the time to take them outside to go to the bathroom lol .... It was bad enough before but now the dogs are only making things even louder.... The worse it gets the sooner they'll move...

Clipping buds off always sucks. Especially if they arent even half done.

I have this thing in my head if a plant stretches too much i dont like it anymore. If you dont want to top you can tie it down. I personally rather would have thick short plumbing than long thin plumbing. Do what you think will work and you will see.

Although others will probably have a much better answer, by the look of it, it will get three times taller if it's gonna be on a 12/12 or even a 11/13 schedule and no less.... Mine was flipped to 9/15 on the 6th or 7th Day of veg and I barely ever went up more than that except for three minutes or so....

She's still got more stretch in her. Maybe the lip of the pot will interfere with raising the stand more? You could cut the lip off with snips. She could stretch another 6 - 12 inches. You chose a very difficult strain to start off with, an indica would have been easier. I've grown numerous ACE strains and I always flower with a light cycle of 11/13 (on/off). I haven't grown this strain but it's on my bucket list. Good luck.

Yeah, more difficulties you say .... I guess I'll have to just experiment from here on out... But I guess it's not impossible so I'll just keep uploading here and we'll see how it goes... Do the buds/pistals seem any bit more developed by any chance? I've started watering a little bit less often, and using less of or less frequently of the Monster Bloom like Tangwena suggested so that she doesn't get too overwhelmed by nutrients... The soil I'm using already has nutrients and even for all stages ... Should I use less or more? I don't want to overwhelm this beautiful plant of mine. But I also don't want to give it less so that it hurries up.

Once you get some bud harvest and can afford some extra time between things you should try some super cropping and get crazy with it. I think you’ll be able to manage a good amount of bud sites and still have plenty of vertical space if you tied things down and cropped well.
Though you may need to switch to an Afghan or something with less stretch. I have some afghans that are super tight and compact and still yield well and the high is very clear and stimulating. I’m not a big fan of couch locked highs or depressive highs like cookies fam put out so give that a go if you’re up to it
