seeing as they look really happy in veg and before you flip to 12/12, have you tried feeding veg nutes for the first two weeks in flower? its worked for me when I had a similar issue.
funny you should ask. I feed my veg and flower the same nutes. From day 1 of veg to day 50 of flower, all get the same food.

Third Coast, I have a couple of BKv2 in flower now that are from seed. I have one that is very similar to yours. She seems to be very picky compared to all my other strains. Slow in veg and I get a canoeing of the leaves. I'm sure I'm feeding a bit too strong so I plan on backing off and maybe adding a bit of cal mag or just some epsom.
Like you I'm only bothering because I can tell she is going to be worth the trouble.
I have been at this for 23 years and I have never smelt something like she is. Mine is straight up OG. Viney, the typical 3 leaves, and spaced out nugs.
I also kept some of my males to cross with my Triple Kush which is another Karma creation.

have you done leaf tissue samples on it to determine if and what the nutruient deficiency is? could be a big help!

I wish I had that kind of fundage. I was reading a website from a link posted on ICmag recently. The company the link was to was promoting and selling tissue samples for cannabis use. They claimed they could custom tailor nute programs and were able to do so with a scary accuracy due to the samples.

one might argue that if your grow is financially squeezed you cant really afford not to do this. especially if you are having a nutrient problem you havent been able to solve.

it would be useful even on a budget if you were always running a specific finicky strain. if it was causing issues that translated to loss of yeild it wouldn't take that many lights for it to pay for itself. even at a 10% increase on 1 light you could be talking about 100 bucks worth of product per month. once you dial in with a few tests followed by tweaks and retests you would have a decent return for your efforts and time spent learning and collecting samples etc.

ive just started to learn about it. not yet implemented in my grow yet.
other folks on here have mentioned using these services. there are home kits available target testing for specific nutes but interpreting data and tailoring a nute program would be up to you. which is fine but requires a little more studying than submission and retrieval from a lab. i am looking into it in my area and am wondering about using an out of state lab.

i found it once i added microbial to the keyword search.
thanks.
Clicked on the link and read this:
" Spectrum Extra - includes a salt-eating bacteria for high sodium soil."

Dumbass statements like that make me cringe. Salt-eating? Um, no. Maybe it is tolerant of high-sodium environs but it would get no energy from sodium nor would it reduce sodium levels in the soil, so eating is not the word to use.

Oh, hey there fellas! In an hour I start yet another vacation, this time down to Arkansas. We leave on Tuesday.

Thank you rr. It's in Vegas...Just saying.

I know, lol
How would you rate the overall quality of the smoke? Looked through the thread and saw where you talked about it little. Think you said it was more fuelish? Unless I missed something somewhere.
REALLY stacks the weight on from the looks of her. Very nice find!!

Arguing from authority isn't a valid argument. If he was all that he'd know enough not to say things like "salt-eating bacteria". It's at best a misnomer and at worst just bullshit.

How would a hypothetical salt-eating bacteria work? Does it convert sodium into some other element? Not possible. Does it remove sodium from solution by donating an electron to make sodium metal? No, because the sodium would react with water and you're back where you started. Does it work by removing an electron from the sodium ion? No, sodium has one ion, Na+, and will not (under conditions where life is found) give up another electron after giving up that first one to become Na+, so there's nowhere to go, energy-wise, for a hypothetical organism that "eats salt".

The above methods are how other bacteria that "eat metals" work. All the metals that are "food" for bacteria are ones that have multiple oxidation states that allow the donation or receiving of electrons. Sodium isn't one of those metals that can be used as an energy source because of its single oxidation state and high reactivity as a metal.

So no, I still call bullshit on your hero.

I don't need to argue bud , the proof's in the pudding.

It is possible for microbes to transmute Na...

Na + O + the right biology --> K , it happens. Best believe...

You're clearly NotAProfessor.

Patients really seem to like her. Pretty standard OG Kush as far as flavor goes, a little fuel, mostly kushy, earthy mouth coating smoke. Very stoney effects. She reminds me a lot of my True OG cut but with 4 times the yield. I recommend you try her out if given the chance.

Well she's not going to win any beauty contests this round but it doesn't seem to slow her down.
