My media sources are not covering the trial, so, yes they probably are leaving a lot out.
But, it’s really of no interest to me whatsoever.
That being said, is anyone questioning the parents of these children? If not, why not?

Many of them were runaways and many of the parents were duped into thinking their children were being given opportunities. Troubled children were preyed upon. I haven't heard anyone excuse the parents, but bad parenting hardly justifies sex trade and abuse.
In any case, you say you're not interested, so there isn't much to discuss. If you understood the scope of the blackmail operation and how it was and is used to control politicians for many decades you might have some concerns.
