i doint getting too if rules existing you can followed or not but thing to can change it not the goal




it be still the same not face pix or videos from all the members, also if be legal this point be net change for future

The change of rules will change the cup that's for sure.

I think we need a new post outlining rules of cup as seems to of changed alot over last 3 -4 years

You want to take pics of samples do it on your own time ( i take pics of samples but at my hotel or apartment ) not where other members will be in the picture ? , I don't want a pic by mistake with me in the background and clear pic ?.

Cannabis is illegal and we don't want proof of us participating or identifying who we are

If you take pictures, only from the entries.

Sorry for choosing a stupid term, being worried about security is never bad. And neither do I like to show my face or have anything posted in socialmedia.

The pictures of the entries will be taken by terpshots again this year. One of , if not the best , cannaphotographer in Europe. He supports us by taking amazing pictures , and of course he gets judgepacks and is allowed to vote. His sessions costs couple thousands € usually. Same as other companies who sponsor prizes for our winners (Mila & puffco for e.g).
But there won’t be any randoms, everyone from „outside“ will have a reputation in the canna community and will be instructed about our rules.

The aftermovie was taken by the team of terpsarmy, not from us, and definitely not with our approval.. But in a time where everyone has a camera in his pocket , of course it can happen that you accidentally are in the backround of a picture.

This year we change the spot, for exactly those security reasons. To not be in a high risk touristy area with lots of police. For not having our host use our event for their social media.

Since last year we use a voting app (no data provided to 3rd parties, it was especially developed for us). Way more easy and convenient, getting results is just a click away, instead of having laborious counting work.. As always full transparency is key, and if you look in the '23 thread , you‘ll find all entries, and all votes from all judges

Any other changes we should be aware of or all else still the same?
Like no vote in a category you've entered samples to.
Would it be worth the time to post full set of current rules applicaple for April?

The whole category or just the own entry?
So is someone enters grower indica he can't judge the all other grower indica samples?

yeah that right you can´t judge if enters in same categorie, we had a case over a decade ago where we change it. why you can rate the another entery bed only to have you own entery with higher point to cheat with results we not accept this moves at all ...

Here we go again

want to let all the IC community know, the IC 420 Cup will be taking place in Barcelona again this year. from the 16th of April till the evening of the 20th of April 2024. We hope to have judge packs ready on the 16th already to give people as much time as possible to do the judging.





as always, the cup will follow the rules about blind judging and open voting. the details will be posted up as they are finalized.





this is basically a heads up to get your entries sorted





Last time was great, we had more entries then ever over all, so lets hope for another great one this time round.



this years IC 420 Cup, will be in Spain, Barcelona



we are now accepting entry registrations



you can enter the cup in the following categories:



Cannabis Social Clubs: Club Flowers



Grower: mostly INDICA



Grower: mostly SATIVA



Breeder: mostly INDICA



Breeder: mostly SATIVA



Grower means a grower who doesn't sell seeds and isn't a cannabis club



Breeder means seed companies, aspiring and professional



to enter the cannabis categories you need 35g of flowers, prepacked into 1g bags if possible. (this lets you make each sample look nice)





Hash: 7.5g entry amount, prepacked into 25x0.3g bags



OIL/BHO: 5g entry amount, prepacked into 25x0.2g bags



Rosin: 5g entry amount, prepacked into 25x0.2g bags







entries must be on site by the 14th of April latest, we look forward to having you on board for another wild year .





Cannabis Clubs have a 100€ participation fee. other categories are free to enter. No limit to the number of entries.

2003 and 2004 were just small get togethers..2005 was the first proper cup ,based out of Gypsy's shop.,2006 was bigger and held in a secure nightclub (was awesome),2007 was held in a big venue with bands and leaf blowers another great cup .i can't remember 2008 ithink was at the greenhouse .always a great event and lots of fun for all

you was longer not at ower table & you are welcome to coming back .

Some of the clubs have Volcano and some not but proper ones have a option for vapers too.
