Hey HL - great to see you have been busy working with the HW. I always get excited when I see this thread has been bumped. So much potential locked in this line, IMO.

I know you know my plans of sorting the Honey White later this year to start the process of building a White Bx3. It's VERY interesting to me, to hear your thoughts and progression with the line. I'd love to hear more!! :respect:

Always a pleasure to have you chime in, Melty! :tiphat:

dank, I really look forward to your run. As of now, I plan to run a big batch of my HighEnd f2's around that time, followed w/ the original cross beans, working my way back thru...
Any help I can provide, you know I'm there. ;)
I've also germed a bunch of the "QB" f2's, looking for her again, lol.
I will go thru them all sooner or later, but right now it's more to see how prevalent the male is, got my curiosity up. :)

Been puffing alot on the Candy Chem cut I ran for a minute last yr.
Initially, I thought it a poor 2nd to the Screme'N Dawgs.
(I have to give props to CBF and spell it right, cause everyone should scream for his Strawberry Creme!)
Anyway, after a 9 mo. cure, I'm loving it! Delicious!
I found a few seeds in it, probably Apollo pollen drift, and couldn't help myself from popping some. :D

Morcheeba*, thanks, I'm pretty excited with these plants.
I'll be interested to see if the calyx's stack at all like how my Screme'N Dawgs finished.
Those other shots were bud porn, didn't really show the lankiness of the Screme'N Dawgs, this is what I'm talking about.

Same plant @ 50 days in 1 gal. smart pot.

Fuck me H. You sure do make me hanker after CBF beans...but alas they do not appear likely...

Good to see you posting/growing again. You're one of the good guys.

Hey brother, been forever since I checked ur garden out.. I'm a damn fool!

Beautiful ladies over there, and it's great to see y'all still playing with HW. I'll have to get my mitts on some again soon! Oh bro, that candy chem is timeless... I'll cry the day I lose her!

Good to be back Monkster! :tiphat:

LOL, ChemDgMillionre, it took me a few months to figure out who you were, but the new handle gave me a chuckle from the get-go! :D
I'm always intimidated by the scope of yer grow, keep rocking!
Hope everything bounced back OK after the power outage.
I lost power for 2 hrs during my "on" cycle. Two days later I picked a seemingly sterile nanner off my DC x HW #2.
Today I found another, only plant producing 'em and my eyes are open.
She's a tad frostier than the #1DC, see how it goes.

I was earmarking these all to go around 70 days, but they may be quicker. :bigeye:

I want to start out by giving a big shout-out to my friend Ottoman.
He's a dude I met in our "local" thread many yrs. back. I bet I have 25 yrs. on him, but he always struck me as a real knowledgeable grower. Years back he constantly egged me on to try coco.

I started out growing indoors hydroponically in the 80's/90's, before switching up to a more organic style. Always happy w/ my results, but seeing all the results coming out w/ coco, I decided to give it a shot.
Early on, I started using House & Gardens nutes. Back then, their feeding charts were always changing, so I winged it on the safe side.
This grow I'm adhering to their feeding schedule pretty solid, but I don't have all their additives. This run I've added the Drip Clean, already having the MultiZen, BudXL, and Top Booster.

Several months ago, Otto posted up how he's been using a new product called Rock Resinator and was loving the results.
Otto tries a lot of nutes, but he was really jacked about this stuff, and several other local growers whom I respect, vouched for the stuff too, so I shelled out for some.

Week two of flower I was pretty impressed w/ how the buds were setting up so early, I knew ylds would be good. Week three I started using the RR, and I have to say, I'm impressed!

So I just have to :tiphat: to Otto publicly. :D

Now for the plants! All are @ 46 days in.

Here's DC x HW #1

and here's DC x HW #2

Both these plants are pretty low odor. It takes a rubbing to really get an odor, and both are very much a lemony Pine-Sol, w/ a bit more HW coming thru on the #2 plant.

SD x HW #1 is the most similar to Honey White in smell.

SD x HW #2 veers the closest to the Screme'n Dawgs. A sweet Chem Dog odor, and look how those calyx's are stacking! :D

SD x HW #3 is the most Strawberry of the plants, like Strawberry Play-Doh. :)

SD x HW #4 has a lot of Chemdog in her odor, along w/ Honey White.
She has had a CLW Solar Flare Bloom booster over her, and has proven light sensitive to it. If I have that thing under two feet above her, her dome will start bleaching. Check it out!

Damn HL, things are looking chunky around here, that Rock Resinator is no BS works real well, and to be honest I have to give all the credit to TacomaComa for that stuff. Saw he was using it with high remarks, ran into a bottle at a hydro shop picked some up and very happy I did. Next run I would like to see how the Rock Resinator stacks up against the MOAB/Hammerhead combo. I do think that from first impressions I got a better smell/flavor from the RR. Let us know how your buds smoke, would love to hear your opinions on the stuff.

You starting to get the yielders H?

Bloody hell...there's gonna be some big old buds come harvest day!...just watch out for mold.

Coco always seems so appealing...but all that PH testing and daily hand watering just seems too much of a pain for me....

...but I was reading up about coco hemp bucket using maxi bloom...

Those plants look great, HL. Chunking up really nice from top to bottom, can already see some stems starting to nosedive.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies! :tiphat:

Today is day 52 for the girls, and I'm veering away from the H&G's feeding schedule and starting to flush. They're getting flushed w/ water w/ Drip Clean added. The Drip Clean is a weird product, it prods any unused salts into use and anything left flushes out.
You need to use it thru the whole cycle, starting mid-way will burn the plants because of excess salt build-up suddenly getting utilized.
I've never seen so much dried effluent in the lower breather holes of my Air pots. I know it's doing something!
The Hummus Monk, have to say ylds go to the feeding schedule, adhering to it more properly, along w/ the added RR.
I feed the plants every other day. I'm an anal capricorn, I dig taking the PH/ EC prior to, and again w/ the run-off. I chart it, as it's nice to have some proof rather than what my addled mind recalls. I usually do two feedings then a h20 flush, but thru flower w/ these, they've been getting three feeds then a flush.
Supposedly w/ the Drip Clean, I don't need to do this flush, but that's how I learned to go it in coco.
Hell, H&G have you feeding right up to the end!

rasputin, these branches are really stout, not a lot of flopping! I'm also a big believer in silica and have used Silica Blast thru out their lifecycle, and this no doubt helps bolster those buds. That and a bit of bamboo support. :D
I took this pic of DC x HW #2 because of the crazy long lower branch she produced.

picture.php

You can see @ the stalk a bamboo pole going horizontal tying up this branch. There is a lot of arrangement in all these plants. All fan leaves are pulled to the backside, many clipped together, sometimes I just braid the petoiles together, whatever works. I don't believe in defoliating for light, the plant has those leaves for a purpose and I want to use those sugars up.
These plants are like puzzle pieces, they will only fit around that bulb one way creating a solid tapestry of bud.

nachilloo, the DC mom was not your typical big-ass Deep Chunk. I wish I had a pic of her. The HW is now coming thru in the smell more w/ both plants.
Here's DC xHW #1 @ 52 days

nachilloo, I really love the stacking calyx's on the SD x HW #2 plant too!

picture.php

Unfortunately, I lost the cut from this one, along with the SD #1 plant.
I had a fifth SD x HW plant that I killed off early on, couldn't fit her, but will be running the cut next rd.
Seeing those stacking calyx's just makes me wanna pop some beans I made w/ the other SD plant, hunt for some more of the Screme'n Dawg traits. :D

Here's SD x HW #3, still producing pistils more than the others, expect her to go longer.
