I am dying to grow it again!! Honestly, the GHxP is one of the best pure sativas I've grown. Very impressive!

Lean Green, stop dying and get to living (lol). Can't wait to see your next foray!

Trust me I've still got a pulse!!!:)
Should have things in order during the next few days and I'll definitely be dropping a few more of these. Gonna try and run a few Deep Chunk x (GHxP) too.
Got a few plants vegged and ready to flower. But, they are not ACE strains so I'll have to find somewhere else to talk about them.

High Lean Green :)

The Deep Chunk x Green Haze/Panama should be an interesting indica/sativa cross. Please, let us know about the plant expressions when they start to develop.

Forgot to ask you ... how was the khmer gold ? :smoke:

The Khmer Gold was an interesting line. I was very surprised at how similar the plants where to each other. The only real difference was that one plant had buds that where worth growing and the other two looked like calyxes on a stick. Same smell, taste and effect from all three. A delicious citric mango floral scent, very complex! The high is crystal clear, doesn't have the power of the GHxP but it does have its place in my arsenal.
I'll post some pics of each of the 3 plants flowers and a few fresh thoughts when I get home tonight.

Thanks for share your experience Lean Green,

The Khmer sounds real interesting, it's not easy to find good cambodian genes nowadays, it's a very good sign that plants grew similar, sounds like is a good true breeding landrace sativa to work with, despite this kind of plants are real hard to grow indoors (long flowering time, hard to adapt indoors, small yield etc ....

Did you find hermies in the line ?

No hermi's in my run. I had several other varieties herm during that grow but the KG stayed firm.
I have a few KG x PTK vegging now. They are way more vigorous than the pure PTK I also have going.

Great to know Lean Green,

This kind of tropical sativas are usually quite hermie, if they stayed firm indoors means there's lot of selections in past generations, probably selected for aromas potency and quality too. Honestly, i'd like to try gypsy's cambodian sativa. Keep us updated with the PTK cross, sounds great!

I have three of the Khmer Gold x PTK flowering. Aroma is PTK dominant larger trichs from the male side as well. If the potency is there, I plan on running more of these to make F2's.

In this pic, you can see 2 PTK's of the same age as the hybrid plants, next to the fan and between the KG x PTK's.

Hi Lean Green :)

It's a bit difficult to produce interesting SE asian sativa x indica landrace F1 hybrids because it's not easy to find good combinations with high/flower leaf ratio ... my earliest vietnamese and thai sativa x indica hybrids had same problem.

If there's good potency, high quality effect and interesting aromas in the F1 line, maybe the F2 line re combine to produce plants with higher flower/leaf ratio. Anyway it's always interesting to do this kind of crosses, you have the chance to learn a lot about the dominant/recessive traits of the strains you are working with.

It's funny, the one KG plant I didn't pollinate had buds that where twice as big and dense as the two I hit with pollen.
This is the third cross I've made with PTK. The other two showed immediate progress in the F1. Both had tremendous yield's, good aroma and fantastic effect.
I'll keep you updated on the progress of this cross.:)

gOvnaa- your going to help me look:wave:

I've got the last four or five Green Haze x Panama going now. The first female I've found in this new run is a GHxP so I'm stoked! Hoping for at least one male to make F2's with. I'm really in love with the product from my last run of GHxP, still got a jar stashed away too. I'll document these a little better than I did with the last ones;)

Great to hear you still had seeds and a jar curing ;)

Im so glad you enjoyed the cross so much, then i think you should try the F2 generation and keep the cross for your future grows.

I grew some Pine Tar kush 3 years ago outdoors and i liked a lot her taste and quality (indeed i love the quality and aromas of Tom indica lines), but the yield, vigour and mold resistance were not so good, at least under my limited experience with the strain. Anyway i see the strain has lot of potential for hybrids.

Cambodian x Green Haze/Thai, this would be a good one!
