Thanks very much!! 2 last questions..since I didnt wanna start a new thread ...
1.Can I split the ducting two ways...have one fan, pulling through a hood or TWO...AND exhauting the hot air out using a yduct spliter?
Basically SPLIT the 6 in to two.....one ducting strictly for my hoods, and the other duct to exhausdt hot air.?
Will this sill create negative pressure?
You have a 6in centrifugal fan which should be 465cfm. Yes, just duct one end of the hood and leave the other side open so it removes heat and replaces the air in the room. Just leave the louver low on the door so the air that comes in is the cooler air from the ground. Make sure the glass is ON the hood so it uses the full air path over the bulb.
Do not use a 6in inline duct fan. Those don't have the power of a centrifugal fan.
