Uh oh, I smell a rat; trugreens has eleven posts and every one looks like a stealth Big Mike post. BTW, I have read through 30+ pages of toohighmf's posts and he is the real deal NFR. If I ever needed advice about using AN gear, I would listen to him. He may hate his ex-employer but he knows their products. Nice looking grow!
blockberry sounds interesting who's it by?
I forget actually. They are pretty rare beans and not on the market. There was two packs being auctioned when I picked them up. I havent seen any others listed over the years. Including me, I think theres only 3 or 4 people on here who have posted about having this strain.
Can't wait to seee how they turn-out in the stadium. I just thats why you're trying to control the stretch.
keep us posted. Here's one that was finished down the aisle of a stadium. It dried 3.5 grams short of a QP.
From the beginning my intentions were to see if the bud blood would control stretch at all if you were to simply add it to what ever feeding reg you use. Controling stretch for any of my strains has never been a consideration. I just top, cut branches or remove. In this case, I have some oversized Kush plants as well so the experiment is generally for the whole room. I left dozens of plants untopped with the idea that if things did way overgrow anyways, I'd just remove plants.
The blockbery seems to natually grow big and round and take up space. I typically throw 3 of my blockberry mothers on upside down buckets down the aisle, under the lights. Some of these dry to 1/4 lb. Not bad for 6 throw away mothers in what I use to consider useless space down the aisle. The Blockberry's on my shelves were there for clones only before I flipped. Tossing those have provided lots of room.
I never even considered the bud blood until someone put a sample in my hands. The over sized room could have been easily controlled otherwise. It's fine now. I may still remove 3 or 4 plants. The right hand room looks great except some of the smaller plants wont add up. I've been swapping a few of these room to room.
I'll post pics soon. I have a lot of stuff to take care of over the next couople of days.
keep us posted.
its funny how you get a qp off a plant under the verticle light as a paper study on here stated no light was getting underneath there. Unless its been proven not to work cant say it dont work. love the blockberry by the way
I'm thinking of doing a SOG NFT Stadium grow w my fence post, but am considering going hexogonal. have you gone hex or octo before? what you think of little to no veg and flipping quite a few instead of less bigger girls? wouldn't 360 lighting vertically technically double your current set up? I know things in theory don't always work as good as they do on paper, so I ask if you've gone 360 and if you saw any difference in yeilds between the 2?
and NFT stadium would be so easy, but if I'm going to maximize my potential, I wanna go all the way. thanks
thanks for the input. As far as numbers go, I have no problems legally, I have 250 recs. & a lot of mother stock. I already have my fencepost and caps cut, as well as all my plumbing from my last show. looks like I'm building a pair of stadiums in my next thread. my biggest issue is spacing. since I'm running rw cubes that sit in the channels, how high would you space them vertically? I'm going to run some pineapple Cindy 1 side, and either Chem D and Bubba together, or just straight SFV_OG. depends on how many kids I can get off the D. I really want to run it vert. SFV vert would need to be flipped back right away in vert. it just stretches too much. thanks for the advice. I will read what I can in your older thread.
gotcha thought we bust another mythWell, it's not quite like that. I usually only put 3 plants like that because they can get up between the bulbs a bit without burning. Also, my bulbs are hanging less than two feet apart. There is so much overlapping light compared to someone who would have 1 bulb per 4 square feet per say. I also pump some pretty cool air down the aisle so I can do this.
My system is supercharged with light. People comment often how it is poor use of light. I blow em away for weight x floor space and that's what it really is about for me.
Thanks on the rep and comments guys.

[Very nice plant NFR I've read about the block and it's a good producing plant and it's in high demand thats one of the reason I asked where you get it from I figured it's a cross someone made, but please explain the upside down bucket for me.
