That's a great argument for keeping a stockpile of food and water in a defensible location. Gold would probably remain desirable (compared to paper anyway) during such a catastrophe. It seems to be doing pretty well today in fact.On this thread there has been lots of talk about investing in gold. My question is, if there was an intense economic event would gold be that valuable during the conflict. When people are paniced and starving would gold be worth anything?
LOL!!I think you guys are all paranoid.
3. Terrorism: Terrorism could visit America again, possibly in the form of a biological attack which could require us to hunker down in our homes for months. A “dirty bomb” may require us to evacuate for an extended period. A chemical attack would be less severe, unless it happened right in our town.
if anarchy were to occur i wouldnt supply myself i'd armed-stick up everyone near me...no joke
That'll only get you as far as running into another armed person that's a better shot than you are. Bad plan.
