Some of the pics of the first plants, they have some damage here and there from slugs, also accidentally water them wirh the wrong jug of water and kinda burned them when they were younger. But im gonna start back Thursday hopefully my Promix is in. I hate using regular professional soil but this seems ok. Which is what I used in the 7-8 holes I dug. I also put a handful of miracle grow potting mix in my holes. I hated to do that but I believe they'll do ok, the few I planted. But I wanna use Promix in most my holes. I may still put a cup of miracle grow potting mix in them until it's gone. I don't figure a handful is gonna have any adverse effects on bud taste or anything. Not filling holes wirh miracle grow mix, just a handful. I don't really like miracle grow but no more than im using will be fine. I really like the potting soil I got, I'll have to check the name, it's very black/rich looking.

Black Earth? Nice stuff.

I've yet to hear anyone say "You used miracle grow on this." lol

I use what I have on hand. Miracle grow, promix flower or tomato, chicken manure pellets, cow shit, whatever shit, even time released nitrogen (farm stuff for corn) in some sandy places, water crystals and even baby diapers (with the plastic ripped off). But I almost always have a bale or two of PromixHP or BX on hand. I had a grow that only got water/miracle grow (the blue stuff) in unamended native soil. Worked great. The only danger with miracle grow is that you can kill your plants if you don't measure and just eyeball it.

That said, by far the best, hands down, have been plants in a properly prepared and cooked supersoil in a 3x2 foot hole with a teaspoon of water crystals mixed in (Soil Moist). But that's a lot of work when you have lots of plants in a gorilla spot.

Yet another experiment. This year I have 4 plants growing with a 12" strip of ShamWow (shammy) on the ground to catch morning dew or rain into a 12 inch strip under the plant. I'm hoping it wicks water into the hole, and not the other way around. lol

I've had 7 plants disappear from their spots around town in the last week. We has some really hot weather so I guess people were paying closer attention to watering and weeding their gardens. This one was found shortly after it was uprooted and was still healthy enough to recover.

Yea I wished id put a few water crystals in some of my holes. I got out yesterday and dug 12 holes or so and planted some smaller plants. Also did some scouting around my guerilla area, I kinda know what's around it but I was looking for another area that gets some good sunlight. I put 1 plant that was pretty healthy there to see how it does. And like I was saying there's a few of those plants I don't think we make it. But you never can tell once you transplant. Ive saw meracules turnarounds from transplanting so hopefully half of them do ok. I didn't go to my guerilla site today. Ive been moving my container plants to there final spots today. Ive got some pics of those I'll share later. And I've got roughly 15 that's healthy I plan to take most to my guerilla site in about a week. I'll probably carry some water to the guerilla site Sunday and see how things look. Plus I'm going now to put some seeds in cups Ive had germing. Also getting ready to harvest my indoor grow!!!! I'm tell ya Ive been stretched thin the last few wks and hope the work pays off. :tiphat:

Lookin' good wv...Get those babies in the ground now!

If you have holes at least 2 feet in diameter and 16 inches deep, those potted plants will take off once their roots realize they have room to spread out!:dance013:

Those are container plants friend, that's there homes!!!! Ive got tons of guerilla plants planted. I do dig holes and sit the containers on good dirt. Ive thought of double potting/elevated potting on a few of them in flowering :tiphat:

I wish we'd get a lil down pour. When you want or need a bit of rain you can't get it. Which it was pouring when I took those plants out to my guerilla site the other day. I watered the plants real good before taking them to my guerilla site. But I didn't have much water to wet the soil in my holes. So I figure im gonna carry in some water/nutes to get them soaked up good. Also curious to see how some of the smaller/weak plants are gonna hold up. The 1 I took to kinda test out seemed like it grew and is gonna be ok. But there's 5-6 I took last i worry there not gonna do good. And besides Ive got roughly 15 plants that's basically ready to go anyday. Hopefully I can get some good pics if I go tomorrow. The Promix finally came in so I'm gonna do a couple more container plants. I just got my Serious 6s and only got 3 to germ so I'll have to get them outdoors ASAP. I got a few testers from Karma, The Melon and Sherb ix x Biker I may try and get a few outdoors. In my head the clocks ticking, I like to have most out before July 1

I am getting rid of this mouse, because its too easy to hit the back button and I lose everything. 3rd time typing this!

Looking great wvkindbud! I was thinking about the bigger plants like yours growing earlier this week. Its been great growing weather and long days so as I suspected, the plants are shooting up like fireworks!

Check out some of the different phenotypes!

July and August can be really dry here with zero rain so I used water crystals on half a plot. I won't water them and see how they do. Right about now, those crystals shoul be bloated.

I put a half teaspoon in a soup bowl to test them and it overflowed so they can take on a lot of water for sure.

A 1/8" grain grew to almost an inch square.

Thanks guys! Just been praying over them. The good Lord is taking care of us! I worked the soil last week and top dressed, but they didn't get any rain. They have plenty of moisture from beneath since the area is near a low spot of a field and there is afternoon shade, so they probably liked drying out a bit. Working the top of the soil to break the crust, even without top dressing, will help boost growth. Oxygen to the roots, is fuel to the cannabis plant! Its fun to watch!

We got nearly 4 inches of rain in the last day or so. Not even going to try to mow today. Going out to check on the plot. Will let you know what we find. They're on the move! Just between the visit Friday and Saturday afternoon after the rain, there was a big difference! All the cells have divided, but now with abundant moisture, the cells are full of water and are in elongation phase! Everything is catching up. Probably won't top them anymore unless a couple of them shoot back up over the canopy.

How about a little cheer! Go hemp, go! Beating the corn field by a lot this year! Moisture made it tough on the farmers. I was blessed to get them in on time. Caught the wave! Go hemp! :smoke:
