oh I understand that bro, cheer and shout the teams (I supported it earlier in the thread) on but to bring in horns that not only distract but actually DETRACT from the game is counterproductive.Have you ever seen a World Cup football game?
that is EXACTLY the way to act.
Keep wailing on your vuvuvuzelas south africa! Everyone is just jealous of your party.
One of you naysayers should try tolerating that for 90 minutes of a football game.
Are you saying that if they get rid of the vuvuzelas, everyone will just fight each other instead?.
You can have this in Africa:
EVERYONE is having a good time!

Or you can have this in other parts of the World:

Now YOU tell me which one you prefer?
.
Where I live, the snobs petrol-mow their lawns every other day, trying to outdo each other -
90 mins of vuvu's is p!ss-easy compared to hours of 90+dB, 2-stroke polluting fumes 360degrees around you.
This is all spring, summer and autumn, not just a few weeks of tournament.
Party on, South Africa, enjoy your brief flash in the worlds sunlight,
cuz they'll be ready to sh!t on you as soon as it suits them.
I'll be blowing my vuvu every time I go outside when a game is on!
Yes, but that's not screwing with a world football tournament. Those vuvus are producing sounds up to 130db. Nobody can hear anything when they're competing with thousands of those blowing at once, including the players. I wouldn't be bothered really if it wasn't messing with the sport being played, but it is.
Why does everyone seem to blame just the Africans for it? It certainly isn't. It's like a rather tenuous attempt at playing the race card.
Yes, but that's not screwing with a world football tournament.
Fookin ell dood...You gonna have risk assesments done before people enter a football stadium? Typical of a nanny state mind set. Anyway it's the same for both sides so shut the fuck moaning and watch the football.
There should be rules in place to stop it, and there probably will be at some point.
Look at some of the news websites. There are hundreds of complaints about them, and players and managers are complaining about them too. I think it's only a matter of time before something is done about the noise.Get me the Lotto numbers, while you have your crystal ball out!
So I didn't put "south" first, where did I say it was a country?South Africa, Africa isn't a country.
