Hello everyone,

I have a micro grow room with a 250 watt Ceramic Metal Halide. I have a few plants going but wanted to document one of my plants here. It is a single seed from Ace Seeds Feminized Mix Pack dated 20/6/14.

I wanted to know about the genetics in the mix pack so PM'd Dubi before I started my grow and this is what he said:

Greetings Texan,

Thanks for your kind words, it's much appreaciated :)

The ACE Mix fem of your date contains mainly PCK and Kali China hybrids: Malawi x PCK, Kali China x PCK, Congolese x Kali China, Nepal Jam x Kali China, Cheese x PCK and also one pure indica Bubba Kush x HashPlant.

They are mostly fast flowering and easy to grow plants that can be grown outdoors in many different climates and indoors too.

I'm sure you will enjoy the variety and quality of the mix.

Have a great season! dubi - ACE Seeds -

Good day sir,

First and foremost, love your work. The community owes a lot to you and the fine gentlemen over and Cannabiogen.

Anyway, I live here in a Humid Subtropic area at 29 degrees N. Doing a small outdoor late grow. So I got a 5 pack of Bangi Haze and a feminized mix pack.

The date of the pack is 20/6/14.

I was wondering if you had any information as to what genetics may be in these seeds. If they are more Indica, I'll grow them indoors and if they are more Sativa I'll leave them outdoors.

Please help. The days are passing by fast.

I'll grow the plant out here and let everyone take a guess as to what the genetics might be.

Maybe a little early to tell but it definitely look Indica leaning to me.

Here she is day 8 from seed. She is in 4 gallons of homemade organic soil.

Let me know what you guys think!

I see wild, edible purslane growing in the soil.

The Texas sun is very intense this time of year, I would try incorporate that if at all possible. Beats paying a bill for lights if not needed.n

Good looking so far !

Yeah, I purposely mix in wild Purslane seeds into the soil because it grows around the pot and forums a living, natural mulch.

I have tons of plants growing outdoors already. My indoor grows are for fun and experimentation.

Thanks for stopping by! :tiphat:

Does anyone want to take a guess as to what the genetics might be? I am thinking it may be heavily influenced by PCK due to the wide leaves but I could be completely wrong. Maybe it's the Yunnan, hell if I know.

Ace Seeds Feminized Mix, Day 18:

Don't mind the droop. The lights had just come on and she was still waking up. She is growing very fast with excellent branching and structure. She has a strong smell but I can't seem to put my finger on it yet. I plan on vegging her for 60 days then I'll flip the switch to 12/12. I think she may be either the Pakistani Chitral Kush or China Yunnan strain.

I would say Bubba x Hashplant or KaliChina x PCK.
Pck for the dark leafs, more on PCK side those are I think, Bubba for big leafs.
Let Dubi say his word.I'm only guessing

Beautiful ACE Mix indica seedling Texan :)

As we have talked privately and scai suggested, is most probably a Bubba Kush x HashPlant 90s, or maybe a Kali China x PCK, we will need to see its flowering traits to fully confirm.

Disaster has struck.

I'v been super busy last few weeks. I needed to go out of town for 5 days and told my sister to water my plants. Of course she forgot.

The Ace Seed plant was hit very hard. Most of my plants lost over 50% of their big beautiful dark leaves.

She hasn't grown in 10 days after the mishap. Also, there may have been a salt buildup in my soil so I went ahead and flushed her. I am thinking of letting her recover and veg for 2 weeks before I flip to flower.

Hope I can make a comeback. This plant seems to have a lot of potential.

Here she is looking rather sad and pathetic in Day 42.

Yea...doesn't appear terribly bad......

You already had it right, it's a PCK or "pa(a)k" as we used to call it.

That is the single most important thing.

How are your mama's?

Thanks everyone for the boost in confidence!

Yeah, I figured it was Pakistani weed since that is what I am used to. I was hoping it had an Asian Sativa influence but there doesn't seem to be any there.

I am about to switch to flower in 3 days so things will definately get interesting.

Ace Seed Mixed Fem Day 57: This plant is very big now and has recovered pretty good. It is about to hit the ceiling of my micro grow room. I need to tie it down and switch to flower at day 60. It is been through a lot recently but the potential is really exciting with this Ace plant. She really stinky, even in veg. Smells just like kush with orange spices. Hopefully she continues to get healthy.

If anyone has any advice for me to get her healthier, faster, I am all ears.

Thanks for looking!

Great recovery... I just started a few mixed regulars, gonna start a journal soon. Dubi told me the regs are mostly Bangi Haze, Nepal Jam and Orient Express... so should be fun.

Thanks man!

I wish you luck with your mix pack too! I also have some Bangi Haze that I'm about to pop once I chop down 2 of my other plants.

Things should get interesting in a few days. Going to finally flip the switch to 12/12 and see what this plant has in her. :woohoo:

Ace Seeds Mixed Fem Day 65 (still in veg; 18/6): Wow, where do I begin with this plant. She is just so robust! FAT think stem, uncountable shoots, beautiful autumn leaves (never seen this in veg), and very aromatic. I am so impressed with the genetics from Ace Seeds!

However, I really underestimated how big she would get. She hit the ceiling of my grow room yesterday at 24 inches tall. There is no way I could switch to 12/12 with the way her structure is, my grow room would become a overgrown jungle.

Here she is right before I did a simple LST procedure, pretty ain't she?

I have autumn colors due to cool temps in my grow rooms. I think she may still be a little underfed so am going to up the feeding for her upcoming stretch when I switch to 12/12 in a few days.
