i was pretty sure of things up till quite recently, now im starting to wonder about some of the shit we hear about China. once the msm goes on a concerted anti China crusade i start to get suspicious.

as of right now, im no longer sure about genocide taking place. that isn't to say that life in China is good for the Uighurs, they are being watched, and many do have family members locked up. there also seems to be evidence that they are not allowed to travel easy and the ones that leave have trouble ever talking with their relatives back home. the question really is are they being ethnically cleansed? are they being mass raped, sterilized? or are they trying to re educate separatists and terrorists as they claim?

still, the authoritarian bent of the place is undoubted and i wouldn't want to live under their world order either.

all i think he is saying is that context is important and things can be phrased to sound very different then they are. we should be suspicious when the war mongers start to get more air time and the accusations become more outlandish. i for 1 would not like to fall for another weapons of mass destruction scam only to end up seeing a whole new bigger war, again based on a pack of lies.

i do know 1 thing with absolute certainty, authoritarian governments do not become less authoritarian if they are constantly being attacked and sanctioned etc. all that does is make the dictators job easier by unify the population against the outsiders.

it's actually trafficking and possession of 150 kilos that is on the books for execution in China. I'm not sure one can even believe that though. Do you have any substantiation for your other claims. The US has had re-education facilities, maybe still does.

no death penalty. some have died of old age in prison for weed. still got folks in there serving 30+ year sentences for possession/sale of small amounts. there are MANY folks in this country that would love to be on the border with permission to shoot. our trains not fast enough, so no. religion? all you want. and feel free to try to force others to live by YOUR beliefs...
