I guess I don't stop by the thread as much because I see you in chat so often, but, it's nice to read some of the finer details on what you are doing to adjust to the challenges as they are presented.

Great thread, Pal. Absolutely love the ingenuity of the space.

dank.Frank

Thanks for stoping by Frank, always nice when people drop a line and say hello. And thanx for the kind words, can't take full credit on the 3 tier grow space.

While I was researching the LED lights, I came across a company, that sell something like that. Their system is for warehouse use, and no cabinet doors. But they sell a unit, that looks very much one of my closets.

Took a note from the Chinese national anthem.

"You make, we copy, you design we copy
China, China, China
You make, we copy, you design we copy"

Very loose translation!

And I just redesigned someone elses briliant idea, to see if I could make it work for me.

Put doors on, so I could run the two closet indevidualy and flower males without polinating anything but one cabinet.

This thread is crazy good!!!

If you are looking for the inserts for your cloner I found the best bet is I believe 1" or 1/2" pipe insulation. You get like 6 pieces that are 4' and you can cut them to the size you want.. Drill 1 1/4" holes and they fit in perfect.. You can reuse them or throw them away after each use.. Best part is you can fit more clone holes in your lid compared to what you will get off eBay

Thank you genetic freaked and thanx for the tip on the collars, I'll keep that in mind if the "collars" I already ordered won't work.

I got holes for all the clones I need for now, made room for 153 clones and will max need 120 each run.

quick pic 2/3 into drillin

Day 5 Leftside Cheese

Thank you very much pogster, it's my pleasure to share my work. I hope it can help inspire others, who might not have the experiance needed.

I appreciate all the positive comments very much, it's taken a bit gettin used to. As I just do what ever I do, and don't think much about it besides.
How do I do this right?
Cos if im not doing it right, im doing wrong.

Today I did the only right thing to do, changed the carbon scrubber in the HPS room.

Now the smell outside seems to be gone, just like that!

Yes the new scrubber is a bit bigger, but main difference is the old one was a Eco/coco carbon scrubber.

For growing I would say, the Eco scrubber is close to useless!
Maybe for veg but not for flower, they simply won't cut it.
The scrubber might be a year old now, but 5 weeks into first flower cycle it over powered the scrubber. Been gettin worse, and Cheese is a heavy smelling girl.

BUT im 8 weeks in atm, changed to a Industrial grade scrubber. And I can't smell anything around the house, now that I have installed it.

Yes it cost twice as much, but being frank.
Had I known they where this bad, I would not have brought an Eco Scrubber last year.

Day 58

Found a bit of early stage mold in the middle cabinet, so I chopped the tops of the plants with signs of mold.
There where nothing that bad, it couldn't just be trimmed away.

Increasing the fight, moved my Dehum from the HPS room to the lung room.
There is better circulation in the HPS room, and the humidity is not as high there as in the LED cab.

Might raise the temps a bit, but it blows dry air up infront of the cabinet intakes.
Was the best option I could think of, with what I have on hand.

Then cramed a table fan into middle cabinet as well, creating a lot of air movement.

Hopefully this will keep the mold at bay, and give me a chance to flower them a bit longer.
The the majority of trichomes are milky, but still a bit from turning amber im afraid.

Ec 1.3
pH 5.8ish

Leftside Cheese day 6 - We are lookin good!

Been removing some of the bottom "lunchpack" clone leafs, they are yellowing up and the clones are growing fine.

They are starting to form pistils, and settin flowers.
I think they will streach a bit more, this round and this space will be packed.

Canopy fans will be needed for sure, might even have to split up the exhaust.
And run each cabinet on seperet fans, as for now they are sharing a 2x 125 mm to 1x 160 mm box fan.

Ec 1.2
pH 5.50

just cram in some pc fans?

It don't seem cost effective to me, they offer poor air circulation IME and the bearings wear out fast on the cheap PC fans.
If I had a bunch of PC fans laying around, id prolly use them but I don't

I'll make this work until I got cash to buy the right fans, it's gonna be okay. Today no rain and the RH, is already droppin to a more acceptable lvl.

Day 59 on the test grow

No signs on new mold, the Dehum have helped a bit and the weather have turned around as well.
No rain, plenty of sun.

Gonna have to get the dehum back into the HPS room for the night, don't wanna risk my Tohici99 gettin mold. Not now, where they are almost 13 weeks into flower.

Topped the res, lowered the pH

Ec 1.4
pH 5.6ish

Leftside day 7

A little root porn

Did nothing to the res

Ec 1.2

Tohici99 day 89 - Two days and we will hit week 13.

Discovered a few nanners here and there, not a lot and they don't look like they will do any damage.
They haven't been treated the best, so that they are a bit stressed out is no surprice.
9 day til harvest begins, tho this will be the last strain down.

Chopping the LED closet first, as I need the space for drying.
Then the hope is im able to fit, the plants from the HPS room in the LED cabinet as well.

Once the HPS room is empty and cleaned, the Nephthys clones should be rooted and ready to move in there.
Just aired them out tonight, and they are looking good here on day 7 from cut.
One of the next days, I will start raising the domes for 12 hours at a time.
Giving them more fresh air, and slowly harden them off and let some moistrue vaporice.

Day 60 in the rightside cheese factory

Humidity have stayed in the 55% range all day, just moved the dehum back into the HPS room for the night.

Have done nothing to the res today

Day 8 in the leftside cheese factory

Things are growing on, folie fed them today with fishmix.
They look happy for the small nutrient bump, will let take a look at them tomorrow and see it it's about time to give them a bit more to live of.

Zero changes made to this res here either, been busy working on the boats today. Got some epoxy work tomorrow on one boat, then fiberglass work on the bigger sailboat one of the next days.

No rest for the weary!

PRIMA KLIMA INDUSTRY is the brand, but might spoken too soon as the cheese seems to slightly overpower this filter too.
It just took a few days, but it's not anything nearly as bad as last week. So it have improved.

Still got to redo the exhaust, once I am totaly done with the build.
The ozone bulps do a okay job, at killing the oudor from the closet.

Minor setback

Forgot I lifted the dome, on the clones for the night and didn't lower it this morning when I got up.

Remembered a bit up the day :smoky:

Did a little CPR and gave them some TLC and darkness.

Got a hour light before night out in the veg closet, and we will see how they look tomorrow.

CannaRed

Cannabinerd
Been there and done that. Have a tiny NL in a tiny pot in the corner. Forgot about it when I checked plants yesterday. Today was wilted like your pic, but she pulled through.
Good luck!

So the new Putin 2020 Calender is out, and this year I got a notice about it. LOL

Nothing else to do, then order the 2020 grow planner and keep tradition.

I guess there isn't much sale in the 2019 Calender any longer, cos I got a bunch of freebies. :thank you:

One I have, but the two others I don't but even better I can use these for the LED cabinets the next 6 months.

9 weeks

Had to start chopping, have limped them thru week 8 and im loosing the battle.
So before the mold takes over, I think it's better to chop now.

Have taked the Cheese at 9 weeks before, and it's still very nice smoke.
Got the moms in the HPS room, they will go the full 10 weeks.
Now I'll just leave the dehum in there, and it should keep everything in check.

A nice single cola cheese, a bunch of them also have a bit of branching at the bottom.
This is IMO ideal look for SOG, as they give room for good air flow.
Maybe a bit taller, but I think this looks okay.
On the other side, if I can grow 36-40 of these in each cabinet.
I can't even imagin what the GPW would be, but I am already fairly impressed.

Test grow m all!

Let's see how the trimmed, dry buds will tip the scale.
