if you start cutting them make sure to sterlize your tools after every plant, wipe them down with a washcloth soaked in alcohol or any plant safe cleaner

i would cut some of the big fan leaves in half so the other bud sites can get light. last harvest i overcrowded my plants and got a lot of popcorn bud because the leaves were blocking all the light.

Mike, I love that idea. In half makes hella since as opposed to removal.

I don't think I would try 1 600 all I can tell you is I would go with 2 600s with out a mover on a 3x6 table it's 37.5 wtts a sq ft on a 4x8 table with 2 600s that's less than the min. you need to grow the great most agree there but we've proven it could be done with a mover but 1 600 on a 3x6 table is 33.3333wtts a sq ft Just if you could do that I could have 2 600s on a mover over a 3x12

Stoney, I'm making plans to expand to eight 3x6 tables because they'll fit my space better than 4x8s. What do you think about using two 400W CMH lamps for each table, on a mover? The 400s are smaller, of course, but the CMH is supposed to have way more usable light per watt because of the spectrum.
Also, would you think one 100 gal. res for every two 3x6 tables would be good? It could be with separate pumps, on alternating schedules.
Were you happy with the 5"x5" square, solid-sided pots and hydroton? What do you think about using square or round net pots instead? That would let the roots come out through the side, but I don't know if that's a good thing. I really appreciate you're sharing this thread with everybody!

beauty of a grow..I have been running multi strain grows the last couple years and I found all plants do the best with the lower half lollypopped and then a mild leaf removal from the under side,but making that judgement call on how many upper fan leafs to remove from the top really matter on the strain and just some trial and error..wish I had some better input but I am always pondering the same dilemma,and just found different cuts react different..I think either way your gonna have a good pull..good growing you have skills for sure
