They're going to be pretty small plants as I had to force the flowering cycle early as this grow has to be finished and jarred by 10th June (off out of country)...so they basically started their stretch in tiny pots and were transplanted mid stretch into 4 litre pots and tied down. I was hoping they were going to stretch more than they have but I guess I restricted them too much.
I do have a nice uniform canopy/carpet of creeper vine type plants though!
Kept them quite a distance from the lights to try and get them to reach a bit more.
Male:
One of the 91 S1's is a full on male! No signs of hermie traits at all...and he is living in totally shite conditions: cardboard box, single weak cfl, loads of light leaks and zero air flow!!!
He is beautiful though...lanky...good stretch on him and he stinks more than any of the females!
Now I know people say you can't get a male from S1's....and I'm sure people would think me foolish to breed with him...but...
WHAT THE HELL!
Because I screwed up the plants this time a bit I'm going to dedicate this grow to mainly a seed run...I really think this male has the potential to produce wonderful kids...so all 9 ladies are going to get dusted and hopefully I'll baggy and freezer some of his pollen for potential backcrossing to him further down the line.
I'll get some pics up soon...
What do you people think about the S1 male as a breeder? Worth a punt? Just seems too good an opportunity to miss having pollen with the Skunk Va '91 genes in...
