Former NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell part of Apollo 14 moon mission said yesterday to the press that extraterrestial life does exist and the truth is being concealed by the government.

Now I am not sure about it but my hubs does believe it. Anybody wanna comment their opinion.

I think it would be pretty irrational to say that it isn't at all a possibility, but I still say it's not very probable.

A good way to sell the space program. I have my depends ready, it's going to be a long trip.

I have a problem with space aliens visiting earth not other living forms in the universe unlike the nutty astronaut & his buds. He's no more in awe of the universe than I am & even with a better view he didn't see any spacecrafts other than man made, the difference is he thinks we're being visited.

Mitchell, who was part of the 1971 Apollo 14 moon mission, asserted Monday that extraterrestrial life exists, and that the truth is being concealed by the U.S. and other governments.

He delivered his remarks during an appearance at the National Press Club following the conclusion of the fifth annual X-Conference, a meeting of UFO activists and researchers studying the possibility of alien life forms.

Mankind has long wondered if we're "alone in the universe. [But] only in our period do we really have evidence. No, we're not alone," Mitchell said.

"Our destiny, in my opinion, and we might as well get started with it, is [to] become a part of the planetary community. ... We should be ready to reach out beyond our planet and beyond our solar system to find out what is really going on out there."

i recently had this discussion with a few co workers one was a religious freak the other an open minded hippy alil too open minded really into conspiracy theory but we all agreed that science is real and what science says is possible can actually be possible. We are in the infancy of starting to understand the way things work to say that were alone to the point that not even a cingle celled creature could be thriving in some geo thermal hot spot in some sulfur ocean on neptune is just as crazy as saying the world is still flat(unless youve sailed it yourself you cant really say it isnt can you?).
Personally i think there is life teeming in the universe, were only able to process three dimensions if that, some of us less advanced humans can only understand one, but youd have to be pretty closed minded to think otherwise. Ive never seen a UFO or been abducted but i think ive read enough stuff to realize theres enough space and if a planet starts to have the same formula capable of life to happen either on another dimension or another planet...why not ?

I think it would be really fucking arrogant to think that out of billions of galaxies that each contain billions of stars, that we are the only intelligent life out there.

Now whether we have other visiting, I kinda believe it. I have personally seen things that could not be explained.

I think we are getting ready for a mass communication of some sort. I dont think the visitors are hostile. If so, they would have attacked a long time ago. I think they are closely watching our progress. We have the ability to destroy our own planet and maybe they are concerned about us (humans) taking our ignorance to other domains in space.

OK I am just rambling. But do you think the public is ready for the truth? I mean, the gov't has lied about everything else. Why believe them over you eye, friends, family, etc when it comes to this?

I will admit it. The only thing I would be afraid of would be the anal probe. As long as they dont come here trying to probe everybodies ass than we will be fine. I dont want to be another alien anal statistic.

watch this documentary on Google Video named Secret Space... there are several other good ones which the names fail me, but there was leaked footage and audio of them trying to setup a camera with trick angles as to make the public believe they were far out near the moon when in actuality they were merely in earth orbit... also multiple excerpts of them seeing tangos and other objects....

in the Secret Space video there was footage of a tether that generates electricity when orbiting thru the ionisphere which broke off and went slowly tubling into space... within minutes it was crawling with these bug like UFO things (saying bug like bc they looked kind of flat and circular and all looked the same, there were thousands moving in front and behind this tether...

Given the time that it takes to travel those sorts of distances, regardless of your technology levels, then it is pointless for one species to travel to another. Unless the purpose is a mass emmigration of their home world. In which case if they had already come here, we would know about it.

lotsa people have said it was ice that broke off the tether, and that ice with the way the camera was mounted and the way light went thru them made them look bigger than they were relative to the camera and tether, were they UFOS i dont know.
A piece of nasa film that really interest me is a clip where a "star/object" is moving quite fast towards earth and suddenly the object immediately reverses so fast it has to be slowed down before the object is out of camera, upon slowing it down you clearly see a projectile fly out of earth orbit directly @ the object that reversed out of the way of the said projectile. To this day NOONE can explain or discredit what was shot on the NASA camera, that is the single most compelling video ive ever seen to me thats as good as anything. Theyre out there, the want nothing to do with us thats why they havent made contact, were not worthy we would pollute the galaxy, trying to make porn videos with aliens(thats all we ever do with technology, find a way to fuck it some how). They know were the cancer of existence and they know were not worthy of contact let alone getting to know us.

I don't know about that, maybe there is some way of going faster than the speed of light? remember that people used to think flying machines were impossible much less going up into orbit or beyond. Who knows maybe some day somebody'll discover something that'll blow Einstein out of the water.

I'm not willing to commit myself and say there definitely are aliens and the government is covering up the fact but there definitely IS something strange going on...and the government coverups make me wonder about it even more. For every single UFO occurrence ever they have a very quick and very definite answer that is very definitely sometimes utter bullshit.
