if harbaugh's khakis are the biggest thing you have against the niners, I can live with that...we don't need a fashonista, we need a coach...and any coach that wears cleats on gameday is a badass imho regardless if he's got dockers hanging over em...at least he's not skinny rex, that shit's all bad. lmfao

let's not forget he's won more games than just about anyone in their first 3 years as a head coach...he could show up in a pink onesie for all I care, so long as he brings his intensity with him.

so your putting $400 on the broncos then right?

Deez, I am rooting with you on the niners sunday cause I picked them to win it all this year so I want to see them win this game. But I do admit I think the broncos are still pretty good this year, they've beaten the colts, chiefs, and zona already this year and they're all playoff caliber teams IMO. They lost to the seahwaks which again is another playoff caliber team so I think just from the looks of their schedule they deserve some credit as well. As far as a bet is concerned I won't bet because I want to enjoy the game but if it touches 7 or above I'd have probably take the niners to cover.

is the 49ers secondary good enough to slow down what can be considered the best WR's and TE combo?

Unless the 49ers control the Line of Scrimmage...I think D.Thomas and Sanders will get off....leaving Orange Julius wide open....Welker hasn't even been a factor yet...

Hillman isn't looking so bad also.... Its gonna be a bad ass game

yeah I'm not at all saying they suck, more along the lines that they don't have the most explosive offense in the history of the league this season, last year was their year...it's gonna get cold in Denver pretty soon and peytons history suggests he struggles in cold weather(last season being the exception, but at least where I'm @ last winter was weak sauce...similar elevation, although Denver's winters are typically much harsher than where I'm at in so cal)

but hey anything can happen on any given sunday, I'm still goin Bengals vs Niners in Glendale in February...with history repeating itself yet again.

I actually love Jim harbaugh as a coach. I just think the bronchos are gonna win. The rest is just me teasing u niner lovers. Try $20. Ive just been doing parlays lately, but they have such horrible odds compared to betting on just 1 team. But I keep it small and fun. I don't gamble much money on sports, I like more sure bets u have some control in. lol

the secondary was pretty solid going into st Louis other than culliver has been giving huge cushions, shy's away from contact, pushes instead of wrapping up and tackling etc. culliver is our biggest weakness in the secondary(I don't know how likely it is but there is the possibility of brock coming back this week, which would put culliver on the pine where he belongs). Perrish cox is like the #1 corner in the game right now, coming off the bench! he's playing ball right now. there are some injuries to keep an eye on for sure: willis has a sprained toe, nickel corner ward has a quad strain(he plays good ball, marshall beat him pretty damn good but that's a rookie in his second game goin up against one of the best wideouts in the league...he's gotten considerably better since then) our backups have stepped in and played very good, not just 'acceptable'. I don't think this game comes down to strictly Denver offense vs SF D though, niners are more than capable of getting into a shootout. Hillman had a good game vs a jets D that dedicated it's gameplan to slowing down denvers passing attack and forced the broncos to beat them on the ground, he has a history of fumblitis also. the thomas' are dope, don't get me wrong but sanders success is directly tied to where he's playing...he was never that great in the burg...welker is quick and can get lost in the D fairly easily, he could have a big game, if ward plays I think he can shadow welker in the slot, that's actually a matchup to watch imho.

the $400 bet was in reference to the $200 winnings that you said you got last week goin broncos over jets, assuming the money was even you would have received a total payout of $400...that's where I pulled the "if you're so confident" card a few posts up the page...$20 doesn't seem like a confident bet lol

go ahead and tease the niners fans, after having losing seasons for sooo long we got some thick skin

My only criticism for the niners D is that I wish they were playing more consistent, like you mentioned though new guys, injuries, and young players have been the reason IMO they haven't been as consistent as the past few years. That being said they're still coached incredibly well and have plenty of play makers to create turnovers. On top of that I think they've been getting better each week and down the road they're gonna get some key players back that will be rested and healthy, I think this makes them very dangerous in the weeks ahead.

The niners are deep
whenever someone is hurt, and quite a few are out for one reason or other,
someone else steps up. Look at the interception at the end of the last game
who the fuck was that, never seen the dude.
I'll spend the game at the portland airport, hope they have a good sports bar
peace

dontae Johnson was lookin like a stud in the preseason, playing damn good for a rookie.....to answer your question about "who the fuck was that"...Acker has also shown flashes...

Borland is a playmaker and will get some snaps vs the broncos...no where near p-willie but it could be worse.

Denver/49ers is the worst game to bet this weekend. It's a tossup. Flip a coin if you must, but there are many more better bets. Denver is tough @ home. 49ers are very athletic, but stupid. They are the kings of penalties.
This is the most difficult game to pick this weekend. Why bother?
Ravens, Colts, Cowboys, Chargers and Pats if you don't mind giving 10 points.

may not be the best game to bet on but it looks like its gonna be the best game to watch all week. On principal alone I always layoff double digit favorites in the NFL, IMO too many points to be giving up and too risky for my money. I am so hard pressed about the boys this week line is jumping up to 6.5 and I know the public is loving them right now. The cowboys are a bad team ATS when they're favored or at least it seems that way, much better as a dog. Division game with the g-men and eli will def have everyone ready to play so I am just gonna sit back and root to go 6-1.

fwiw- pittsburg, new England, and buffalo all have more penalties on the year than the niners, and there have been far less niner penalties in the last couple of games

The niners beat the Rams exactly the same way the Broncos beat the Jets. They each had the same game ending pick six, at almost the exact same time and field position. A pick six that let them both cover the spread and stop a possible game tying last drive. I thought the Rams would get an upset win but they fell short.

I actually think the Jets would beat the Rams if they played right now. So the niner win was just as bad or worse than the Denver win.

I have a big surprise for you this week whadez. We finally play each other.

Denver is gonna end up with a double digit win. I hope it stays close, and Denver doesn't blow them out, I want to watch a good sunday night game. But I need them to win by 7. Im pretty sure they're gonna cover.

yep should be a good game, I know I won't be moving from the couch on sunday night lol

oh yeah and Baba- Did you not see the 80yd finesse bullet on a rope that kaep delivered to llyod? I'd say that qualifies as an accurate pass over 20 yds....just saying lol

Ive always said his long distance accuracy is good, just his intermediate and short range accuracy can be inconsistent (0-20, 0-10 yards). but that rams game, he was hitting everyone in the numbers it seemed.
49ers vs the broncos could be entertaining, if its close or a shootout. denvers defense is pretty good too, but kaep can put up some points, hes got like 4-5 pass catchers who can make plays.

Put in my triple parlay for the colts, chargers and cowboys.
cowboys favored by 6.5 at home against eli. if bad eli shows up, theyll cover easily. good eli can put up some scores; they are down victor cruz though, and got dominated by the iggles. iggles are a legit d though (when did that happen?).
are the 'Boys looking at a 13-3 season and possible home field throughout the conf playoffs? see what happens when you keep the ball out of romo's hands by giving it to the running back? romo in measured doses is an asset, romo dropping back to pass 70% of the time is OhNo.

I like those picks baba, I took those as well. Now u got me worried cause u took them. lol jk, fella

Murray has to make it through the whole season for the cowboys to have a shot at that record. After the first game or two I thought Murray was gonna be special, but with injuries and falling behind early, his importance faded in past years.

Deez, Sanders performance is definitely tied to where he is playing. And isn't that part of the problem for the 9ers? He's on a good team now putting in work. Just think how good Antonio Brown would be playing in Denver. Benny the Rapist is garbage, and Steelers O is not anything like Denver's. I think it's a stretch to kinda dismiss him as a threat just because in Pitt he was something of an underachiever relative to where he's at now. I don't think he's a game changer, necessarily, but along with the two Thomas's he's going to be a problem for the 9ers. I don't have a dog in this Broncos/9ers fight, I just think you're reaching in some instances to make the case for the 9ers. Not that I don't expect you to do exactly that, but I gotta call you out for it when you do. :D

Tonights pick is obvious (though that would make me think this is a potential upset, are the Pats going to stroll in to the game thinking it's already won while the Jets get fired up for a divisional match-up against a long time rival? It's gonna be a messy game played in extremely wet conditions, we're getting dumped on out here for the next 5-6 hours at least.) so I'll get to my weekend picks...

Bills
Ravens
Browns
Packers
Bears
Colts
Lions* (subject to change, gotta see where Calvin is at by Sunday morning)
Seahawks
Titans
Chiefs
Cowboys
Cardinals
Broncos
Texans

The Chiefs/Charges game is a tough call which puts me at odds with most of you guys betting on the Bolts. Andy Reid is a Hall of Fame-level Retard who cannot be trusted to call a game correctly. Give Charles the ball 25 times and get the fuck out of the way. Or am I missing something? Probably.
