Hi primobud, I'm glad your harvest went so good. Isn't it fun trying to decide which phenos are the best? Here's a couple of pics from the runt at day F56, she's just not producing so I'll probably chop her soon. Maybe a quarter ounce.

Hi stoney, you were on the first page of this thread. The girls have come a long way bro. Thanks for dropping in again. The runt never really had a 1st wind so I don't expect it to get a second, but I also really don't have any reason to chop it now so I'll let it go a while. I'll show a full size pic next time to show how small she really is. Thanks for the advice. For the others I'll just scope the trichs and wait till there's some amber. I'll probably sample a bud in a couple of weeks. With my limited growing season, 14+ weeks translates to only 2 crops. I'll force 3 this year, but I really need strains that finish in 12 weeks max. I'm hoping that the cross with the SLSD (9 weeks) will shorten the HS flowering time. We'll see.

I love getting up early on Saturday morning and working on the plants while mrs smilley is still fast asleep.

Here's the SLSD at day V21 still in their original six-pack......

picture.php

Here they are repotted into 4 inch square pots. I'm going to veg them for 2 more weeks in these pots and then sex them by the flowering light. At that time, I'll destroy the females, repot the males into 2 gal black pots and return them to the veg room. The SLSD males will start dropping pollen in the 4th week of flowering and from observing the HS females this run I've determined that I'll pollinate them during the 6 week of flower so I'll start the females flowering a couple of weeks before the males.

picture.php

And here's the veg room. Its pretty full now, but I have extras of everything and plants will be moving to the flowering room in 2 - 3 weeks so everything is running just fine.

I should note that I would normally let my seed plants veg longer before sexing but due to timing considerations and space considerations a 5 week veg period will have to do.

Everything S420 said and then some man! Now that we know it'll be Easter before you get here we'll have to arrange a sampling session before that. I'm looking at those buds and I can't guess the yield!!! Maybe 20-30g a plant? ha ha ha Rock On Man
PS: Did you read about the Doctor & Cop in BC that want to legalize? I don't imagine the one lad'll be a cop for long.

Alright, the keeper is at day F49 and she's bulking up better than the 3 girls at F63. I burned the front fans(leafs) off the keeper, anything closer than 8 inches gets bleached in less than a week. So all the plants are sitting between 10 and 16 inches from the lamp. Here's the keeper at F49 looking pretty good for a gal who had 10 clones lopped off her at day F4.

Here's the runt at dayF63. She's getting close to finishing, most of the pistils have turned brown and when I scoped it a few days ago, about half the trichs were cloudy. So I'll probably take her at about day F70. She's not going to yield much, but the buds are rock hard and have a pungent odor about them. Maybe 10g............

These are the 2 trellised plants at day F63. The buds on both are whispy and light with the topmost buds on the smaller plant starting to firm up a bit. If they're gonna get firm and swell they need to get busy. The larger of the 2 is still stretching at the buds so I'm sure she'll go past 11 weeks. Not sure about the smaller one yet, but probably.

Here's the veg room. Its full and I'll have to start taking plants out in about a week. If I shuffle the flowering ones around a bit I think I can put 8 of them into flower in some sort of coliseum config for a week or two to get them started. I think I'm gonna go ahead and sex the SLSD seedlings. They are getting crowded out and I'd like to get the plant count down to a more manageable number. The veg room has no oscillating fan so when it gets full, hot spots tend to develope in the canopy. Generally I'd have these clones flowering by now, but with the long flowering period the veg room is getting backed up. All in all though, the clones are healthy and getting a regular feeding of PBP grow (5ml/gal), potassium silicate(5ml/gal), LK & CalMag(4ml/gal each).
The SLSD are getting 10ml/gal PBP grow(double).

This is the smaller trellised plant at day F66. I never really got a handle on its feeding so she's not my proudest achievement. The buds are starting to firm up but they're small, she's turning out to be a bit of a disappointment for me. I'm hoping she starts packing on some weight for a big finish but I'm not holding my breath. I have a clone of her, but unless she's dramatically more potent than the rest, I doubt I'll run her again.

Here's the runt at F66. The buds are still growing slowly and they're rock hard. I checked the trichs with the scope and still no amber so maybe she will go a full 77 days. Under the scope, the trichomes look like a white shag carpet.

This is the larger of the two trellised plants at day F66. She's my pride and joy. No nute burn or any real tip burn, she's nice and green and quite happy in her little corner. Her buds are starting to firm up a little but she got a ways to go yet. I'm hoping for a massive harvest from her, but I'm not counting my buds yet till they're in the bag. I expect she'll go past 11 weeks, but we'll see.

Awesome looking bud and plant man. Neither of us has ever been good at guessing yield, I'd say "it's gonna be good" is safe to say here eh. Right on.

This is the keeper at day F52. She's budding up very nicely and hopefully finishes in the 11 week window.

Hi primobud. Guessing can be a frustrating pastime so ya, its gonna be good for sure. Still, if it takes up to 14 weeks like stoney917 ran into, is it worth it? I really need a 11 week max finisher. :)
