Nice Hush! Id like to have a couple different flowering setups one day.
Hush, she looks beautiful! I recently swapped out my 600w HPS system with two 185w LED UFOs from Apollo. My girls are loving them! I'm about a week or some from harvesting two of my girls. The other two are the same strain but showing completely different pheno traits. They aren't ready yet. Anyway, I'm subbing this one to see your results. Seems you'll be done just before me.
Regarding the pink light, BE CAREFUL.. they will do damage to your eyes! I got a pair of Method 7 LED grow glasses. They are amazing! Check out my grow to see some comparison shots. I've also put them in front of my iPhone camera to negate the colors for picture taking. Save me from having to take them out of the tent

Thanks for mentioning that bit about the method 7 glasses... I have absolutely been concerned about the LED light damaging my vision, and so I normally find myself turning the light off when I open the cabinet. But I don't want to turn the light off! So yeah I just came across the method 7 glasses on amazon last night, and I threw them in the shopping cart, but I've been hesitant about finally clicking the checkout now button. But I'm going to take your unsolicited mention of them as a sign that I should buy them. Thank you!

I am pretty sure that the plant is lagging behind where she normally is by this time. I guess it's the LED lighting. I would say it looks right now like it usually looks at day 49 or so when under the HPS. Yet we're almost a week past that point. Oh well, no big deal. Looking at the bud structure, it definitely resembles the way they look under the HPS more than they look under CFLs. So even if LED lighting delays ripening, it seems to be worth it if the yield is where I think it will be.

Could it also be something to do with the fact that this is the mother from seed? If it was a clone then it would naturally take a shorter time during flower. Seed plants always taken some days more to mature. The LED light (which I have absolutely no experience with) might not be helping out if indeed they make maturity take a longer time to occur.
Since visiting this thread and thinking of constructing my own space, I'm now deciding whether it'll be LED or CFL's.. The thread is giving me food for thought, thanks for that..

That's a very good point, thanks for mentioning it. Maybe it is because this was a mother plant! That would make sense. I forget sometimes that this was a seed plant that never flowered out before this... only her clones had!
I guess time will tell. Regarding your lighting question, I gotta tell you... I'm already committed to replacing all of my lights with LEDs as soon as I can. I'm sold. Much as I like CFLs, they aren't as productive as LEDs appear to be. I even just ordered a "larger" LED fixture to replace my 400w for my 2x2 tent, because I'm convinced that LEDs will do almost as good of a job with less electricity consumption. LEDs really seem to be the holy grail of indoor horticulture lighting. I always thought it was all hype, but there's actual truth beneath it all, if you can ignore all the marketing bullshit.

I have noticed the same effect. Flowing seems to take about a week longer.
