Blah Blah Blah. The timer never turned off is the problem. Just kept pumping and pumping. I didn't not get a siphon effect. And the overflow does not matter anyway as it is DTW. I have read the instructions and will drop in another timer no big deal I have three. I am just not sure if it was my fault or the timers and I can only test it when I have 55 gallons of RO water. Since it takes me 28 hours to get that much and I use 30 gallons a day it takes a couple days. I have the water mixing a new batch now and will try again soon.

As far as the Blumats I may try them again just not right now. The problems I had were I believe mostly my own fault. It was from running to large of a pot for the number I was using and the mix of my media being to porous. As of right now I just am gun shy.

My recently installed blumat setups (24 plant, 4 plant) each took about a week to dial in. I checked em every 4-6 hours first day, every 6 hours next couple, and finally 1-2 times a day for last couple days. I had one runaway in the first day after absence of over 6 hours. After initial cling +1, each blumat had to be tightened several more arrow increments, give or take.

They are currently working nicely, faster growth than my handwatering.

Sweet morning read tons of info and great ideas.....
Thinking about trying 5-12-26 mix ur playing with..
With blumats the key for me is letting them soak before use. I have a big pot full of them soaking for longtime.. but if ur medium doesnt hold enough moisture could be a problem for sure. I like them to drip every 5 secounds I run 2 per 5 gal..

I have set up a drain to waste system now. I am debating as to whether I will do a thread or not on it.

i think this vert scrog idea is the future, for max yield....

but if you use DWC, yield would increase 20%.

do you really believe that DWC will add 20% to what other people around here are doing? I suggest reading a bit more and seeing some of the new shit people are playing with.

is it possible the problems lie in air pots? Well is that what you guys use? Just asking cause of the extra air access in the medium

I don't think that is it. I had NAPA 8822 as a top dressing and did not allow good contact with the Blumat. It is much to porus for the Blumats to work is my best guess.

I love this set up great grow. Can you veg straight onto the scrog net instead and just move it to flower when its ready? I would imagine that could save some time.
