Blueberry lines in particular seem to affect different people in different ways. Seems to be a love or hate kind of thing. A lot of people really dig the nail biting power high thing, and a lot of people don't.

I used to be all about the Chem/Haze/Thai "superbud" high. But as I've gotten older, and far more stressed on a daily level, I've come to appreciate both sides of the fence.

If you enjoy Blueberry outcrosses, then you'll probably really like the Blue Dream. Are there more potent plants out there? Absolutely. I'd love to see someone cross another Blue Haze to the Dream and do some hunting, because there are probably more potent plants in that line alone. But it's a damned good plant in terms of growth and smoke. A very nice well rounded hybrid.

Unfortunately, it's also about as played out as you can get.

Blue Dream wouldn't be my first choice for personal use because of the ceiling/potency issue, but there's still a whole lot to like about it. It's super-easy to grow. Aesthetically, it's very nice bud. It smells and tastes great. It's FAST because you can flower it straight from clone and get a bunch of heavily loaded three-footers in 60 days. Zero veg necessary because it's such a stretcher. Yield is very good, and the stuff is super-easy to trim (except for having to clean your scissors every third bud, the flowers are so resinous). Everyone I've shared with loves it. Yeah, I prefer stonier goodies, but I'm perfectly happy to grow this one for others.

bd can look amazing when done right od... being back east, i can tell u people love to buy packs of bd... it usually smells good, looks good(big chunky resinous nugs) and the high is decent (not my fav) but ill usually smoke it. seems like it is a very reliable cash cropper... and the demand for it hasnt slowed down much here on the ec...
I would say that when done right od... it can have that light lime green coloring usually only found indoor... mayb thats why people want to buy it so often? cant deny its great bag appeal and it seems like that is the number one determining factor for the general public when buying herb (even tho thats ridiculous)

I love this Blue Dream and the mix with green crack is very sweet. I had these buds grow on the leaf so yeah that shits is kewl.. peace out headband707All three things listed were great..

Blueberry + Haze also sounds good.

My experience with indica-sativa, and High Pedigree x High Pedigree (e.g. Blueberry x Haze) crosses is that 99% of the time, the cross is AT LEAST very interesting and often SPECTACULAR.


Next time I'm in a dispensary, Blue Dream for sure !

I love BD. It is the perfect hybrid, although ubiquitous.

In greenhouses 2 summers ago, in EmTri, many different strains. The BD was my favorite, as usual.

The incense-like odor it leaves in a room is maybe the best part (the haze).

I find the BD stores pretty well.
It keeps it's taste profile for a long time if properly stored.

Ran BD in 2012 & 2013.. lost the strain due to my clumsiness and now none of the few dispensaries left open seem to have it.. Really enjoyed have her as a staple of my strain collection.. I may have to make another strain run and see what I can find..

I received a cut of blue dream from a friend who also gifted me deep chunk. The breeder I believe is from Santa Cruz. My blue Dream grows huge, finishes abbot 10 weeks, very pungent smell while growing and in the jar. What's different about mine compared to others here,is that mine seems to have no ceiling. I never heard that bd had a ceiling. It's surprises me, because the comment I get from other patients I know who have tried it is that it doesn't have a ceiling. Maybe my BD is a cross?

I find it has not that much ceiling for me too. It gets kind of boring but kicks morning to night. It doesn't keep getting you higher and higher but strong potency for what it does do

Yep! East Coasters want nice big dence buds. Doesnt matter if it smells good, tastes good. As long as it looks good.
I had a very small nugget yielding Cheesedog with super power.
It devastated everyone who smoked it. The buds were so small, that people didnt want packs because of all the little pieces.
It was 10x's more potent than BD.
I am really concidering growing it for others and keeping the good strains for me.

I sampled BD a couple years ago while on a trip to San Fran. I instantly fell in love with it. Tasted spectacular and the buzz was a good mix of head and body. I walked around San Fran for 5 days happy as a clam... except for the day I ate a very potent brownie... I walked 100 feet from my hotel and went back to my room!
