I had this thought on Sunday, while outside on one of my five shoveling expeditions.

I aaaaaabsolutely refuse to pay for HBO or any of those premium movie channels. I can rarely sit still long enough to make it through a movie, let alone make time at 2:30 on Sunday or whatever time it's playing.

However, Netflix has been a no-brainer on multiple levels. The streaming-only package is $8/month. (And seriously, who the f*ck still puts movies in their blu-ray or DVD player, and WHO plans what movie they're gonna watch more than an hour in advance?!)

I've gone months (months) without watching anything, and it's $8 that I'm not exactly missing. Not feeling too bad about having shelled it out and gotten nothing in return. (Feels somehow even more justifiable when you say "That means I didn't sit on my ass for an hour or more!")

Their new movie selection is just shit. Old movie selection is decent. The TED Talks alone are worth the $8. Lots of NatGEO content. Works pretty damned well on my Apple TV (downstairs) or my $30 Chromecast (upstairs). Works on my phone. Works on the tablet (good for treadmills and trimming). Works in a box and with a fox. A fox can even work it in the box ('cause he rocks).

TV selection is pretty damned good, and for a dude who can't sit still more'n 3 minutes, I feel like that's a ringing endorsement. :D

(And when the TV shows are set in women's prisons and there's lotsa boobies..)

Did I mention, $8?

netflix is well worth the money which is next to nothing really,i have that and hulu plus.
the only reason i will get cable is for local news and a basic package which will have all the bike races i want to watch, aside from that i will stick to the internet...

So I run dry material although I hear(and believe)that fresh frozen is the way to go. I do get a bit o green in the end product but I'm not a resin snob so no big deal.

I run about a half tote at a time. I guess that might be considered a quarter tote as it's only filled half deep.

Maybe I'll weigh that up and see what it weighs.

Anyway, hash isn't the only thing I'm making tonight, oh no, I'm multi tasking up in this bitch.

Just about done with operation trim rid.

6+ hours later I'd guess I got 4-6 zips. Not to bad, I think it was about 3 lights worth of trim that had piled up. Be glad to stop looking at this all day.
