world of seeds

Both. They were alright. The Paki had nanners and caused a few seeds.

The phenos are kinda varied with the Paki. More inbred strains will give you better genetics but the highs off these 2 were peaceful. Better genetics meaning pheno stability, better flavors and usually better potency.

These 2 tasted alright and potency was ok. They would not compete with say a Bubba Kush or some indica that has been worked a lot, for what most people would want. If this stash is just for you then no problems.

have you grown any of their strains?

Not at all. I got some New York 47 and Wild Thailand.

Both of them shown more Phenotypes yes, but all of them a great resin monsters. Don't know any of the others. There was a Thread in the German Section where someone grown and rewiew all of them. Take a look.

They don't sell any true landrace genetics, there just in it for the cash and not for the love of the plant.

I keep a mother of WOS madness and I love it, It was a single freebie that ended up being the best part of the order I made. Really great smell, yields decent, frosty, easy to trim, and done in < 8 weeks. I have not grown the 2 strains you are asking about, but I know for a fact World of seeds does not = world of shit.

I've grown two of their strains, the Kilimanjaro and the Wild Thai, both of the grew into pretty much exactly what was claimed. Pure landrace? I don't know but both good plants.

The Kilimanjaro was harvested September 7 in Oregon, a month earlier than anything else and grew big, well over a pound harvested in a small outdoor plant. High was just OK, not a keeper but being used in breeding for earliness.

The Wild Thai showed classic Thai leaves and grew big, at least 12' high and 8' wide yielding a couple of pounds. It also purpled up in the cold weather, not being harvested until early November. Again, nice, but not a keeper.

Neither of the plants were great, but they were at least of good a value for the money as Nirvana strains and grew into exactly what they claimed to be. Not like some very expensive seeds from a famous breeder for Medicine Man that grew into lanky sativas with hermies everywhere. And yes, they were bought direct, in the very fancy original breeder's pack.

I see lots of people hating on WOS, maybe they're jerks and their genetics aren't "fire" but there's a lot of other seed companies at least as deserving of dislike.

Source for what? More opinions? I think if you are looking for something more concrete you should order up some seeds and learn first hand.

It all depends on where you are in the world if you want to grow Sativa Outdoor strains.
It Often gets to cold for the plants outside of the equator.

Yep, you know you have a crappy strain when you grow a plant that is 12' x 8' and you only got 2 Pounds.

That's one massive plant with such small yields

Going to bump this thread. Anyone have any recent experience with WOS?

I'm not interested in parroting stuff heard and rumors. If you have not grown it, don't bother.

Oakyjoe, how was that wild Thailand? Did it have the potency of the Thais? Sweet?

I am interested in the Colombian Gold and Brazilian, possibly the rest of the landraces. I don't expect these to be keepers or ballin strains, just stock to work with.

So anyone with real experience, please, feel free to contribute!!

Thanks!

Hi Cannabisso,

I am not supporting anything. I was just looking for experienced opinions if their "landrace" strains have any worth as far as breeding stock is concerned.

I read a post by Welderdan, whom I always have respected, and he said that the landrace stuff is actually hybrids. And that in their descriptions they cleverly word that.

I am collecting whatever landrace genetics I can before the genepool has been pissed to death. I was just looking for some pics of WOS strains grown out and can't find to many.

I will probably splurge the 20$ and find out for myself, but there seems to be a ton of bashing without pics, kinda like Sensi seeds. So just a truth seeker here :)
