Amazing Mango Thai buds man, the flowers look great and getting closer for such a northern latitude, pretty resinous for a wild strain that was never selected or bred at all! Great potential for sure and I was expecting longer flowering to be honest. Can't wait to hear about the smoke test as well. I hope a friend of mine will reproduce the strain soon, It's been a long time since we haven't speak about it.

Vibes.

looks like paradise:tiphat:
my friends and I are always eager about smoke reports.
Do you think this old thai`s have the same euphoric level, like today´s top strains?
thanks sota,
do i think they have them , hehe,
yes where do you think the modern stuff gets it from ,
but its a little adulterated these days,
cloudy and not as high once u start mixing indica ...

this stuff is a little scary if your not used to delving into your inner thoughts ,
it will enhance your state of mind,
good or bad ,,,
its your choice really ,,
be careful what you think about though i find ,
we grew up with this stuff in australia ,
so know what to expect ,,
can be a pretty exciting ride ...

...thank´s for the answer.
meet 1981 an australian surfer at sumatra, he was absolut extrem and crazy. We had a lot of southeast asien weed, but the absolute favorite was the legendary sumatra tripping weed.
Also very dangerous for the mind!

Exactly right Don, a good Thai magnifies and reflects whatever vibrations you bring to the table, as such it can be scary or blissful, often both. Pure Thai, local source in Thailand, looks like the GN Thai stick from Nong Khai, but starts flowering a little earlier...

Awesome thread!!!

Here is the line i started to grow.

Since it's called Hmong Hilltribe, I guess its a highland variety.
this seeds have been cultivated in the golden triangle, by th Hmong people all along.

I started 10 seeds and got 7 plants. lost one to RAs

2 weeks in

Hybrid vs. Thai 3 weeks after sprout

4 weeks in

45 days in

they would grow like wild, if i haven't cut on nutes so far and of course the have a RA infestation though ! but I have to play a little with NPKs befor bloom because am quite not sure wich ratio to choose in the end? but since I want to preserve this strain I will veg them for at least another 2 weeks to take clones before flip. I also chose to bloom with my MH instead of HPS and add an addition 2100K spektrum via a 85W CFL bulb.
my theory is that equatoral sativas perform better under a spektrum thats typical for a summerday afternoom around 4-5000K. sun's allways high there the whole year, so simulating autum with a red/yellow spectrum makes no sense IMHO
plants strech under HPS because they lack the b/w spectrum and start to "search" for it. so by giving them what they want I hope to keep them happe for the 20 weeks of thrill awaiting us^^

Anyone has info on local strains from Phuket?
Supposedly incense smell/taste but I don't have any idea on type of high and potency.
