A New Millenium... with aptus

Well I'm not afraid to admit that was a dickish thing to say and apologize.

I do love a good grow so I'll keep it positive. Carry on.

My question is why would you use Aptus when this NM fert line has so many components with a bunch of additives?

Your rooms look sick and plants are super dialed - just wondering if you could get similar results from the NM line alone?

I don't get what you're saying really? It doesn't have many additives as say a gh or an h&g ect. Pretty simple really. Theres a base which is equinox, or gh micro I'm guessing. Then a season. Ie summer veg autumn bloom. So its a two part simple enough. Similar to botanicare kind in how its applied. Theres a fulvic which I've used for last 10 years. Then there's a transition one part which is decision. I use if you want details on why I use it ill tell you but its only for about a week. In veg if you veg longer like I need to at times they got lightning start which is awesome if you need to stretch a plant. Kinda makes the bottom shoots come up to reach main branches and accellerated growth at the cost of thin stems. I'd use that with any line since I scrog and use trellis it shortens my veg. If I was growing a different method I wouldn't use the stuff. Kinda reminds me of how vho use to work but I have no idea how it does. Use it maybe 0-3 feeds most batches. That's all I use besides cal mag.

Its no flora nova but its no AN. Anyway I dialed it alone before I used it with aptus. Got 2+. I dialed aptus on my normal food seen what it can do. Logically I'm trying to combine them now. 2+ was fine but I'm looking to get 2.5-3 and aptus will help achieve that. When I say aptus let me clarify. I think the peak boost is terrible, maybe its me but I'm the only person I care about. Finale was bleh...decent. I just use facilitor/start boost/ecozen. I swore by bloom boost til I think I got a bad extra potent batch and ruined a room. So I dropped it. I don't believe hype so I've been thoroughly testin and facilitor is the shit.

A little update, plants have finally pushed past their little slump had me worried for a bit but all seems well as of now. It's gonna be a good run after all, on with the show and why I use the nutes I do and the environments I run. 3-4 weeks left to push push push :dance013:

What are you using instead of peakboost bloomboost final Boost?

I run big bud liquid and overdrive. Bloomboost hasn't been replaced but I think its unnecessary with teas featuring alfalfa meal and I use canna boost. I've tried tons of boosters including blossom builder, rock resinator, big bud powder ect in side by sides. This combo has worked for me the best. I feed additives if you will in rotation. If your plants eat daily then it would be big bud/budswell/bigbud/aptus/budswell/big bud/sea green. The bud swell really helps the smell and flavor especially since dropping the organic p and k and boost. I only do teas about every 10 days now with better results. Caps bennies.

Hey trend nice room props. I got a few questions if u dont mind answering.
1. How long do u typically veg for ?
2. Many many times do u feed a day ? 1-5?
3. Do u only have one 1/4" feed line per 2gal pot? And is it open ended or attached to a stake that spreads the nutes?
4. How many plants per 4x8 table do u run?
Thanks in advance.

1. Depending on plant size coming in from t5 room. On average 10-14 days.
2. Only one row is recirc the rest is hand watered. Hand watered 1-2 times a day, recirc twice 8hours apart for 8 minutes.
3. Open 1/4" tubing on a stake. I learned long ago any fancy nozzles/spreaders just clog too much and are unneeded as I flood containers within 8 mins anyway.
4. I just fill canopy space. Numbers are irrelevant. Put like growth with like growth far as stretch goes. Usually 1-4 per light though. If you started from scratch with even growth or monocrop 4 per is the absolute easiest. Flip when canopy is full and supercrop thru veg.

Nice job trend! I dig seeing colorado dudes showing what's up.
I've been looking at NM and gonna try a trial. Been hearing GREAT things about NM and with fascilitator. After seeing your room tick up one for the team.
Good job bro!
