True, but there is a huge difference in quality still. Anyone can taste it. I've had friends dab me out before and I mentioned their oil was made with korean butane before they did ;)

I agree that korean butane sux, but its not the propane. Most likely sub-par factory conditions or just not caring about the purity.

I left last weekend's batch under vacuum at 105 degrees overnight. It came out as more of a wax this time. This texture is easier for dabbing, and I actually prefer the taste and high from this one compared to the shatter from the week before. Just over 5 grams here.

This batch was made with that nasty Korean butane (who knew?). I'll try a batch with Colibri this weekend.

I would agree that all canned and even gas company supplied n-butane all suck unless properly cleaned of mineral oil/lubricants/parraffin wax.

Apparently! it is concentrate made from concentrate (vs from flowers) And was told that they vac purge it again to ensure its pure. DELICIOUS!

And then they add in terpenes, essentially lemon or orange oil, sometimes as high as 5% of the total weight, it's great for the unseasoned smoker who wants to eat candy instead of smoking, but most experienced smokers find the added terpenes cloying and nasty.

Limonene? That actually sounds delicious. I put a drop on some buds in the vaporizer once. I got the most lemony / citrusy tasting hits from that.

Was told this after a friend of mine with Stay Concentrated came back from a trip to the west coast, he was invited to learn about the process, and was pretty discouraged by what he saw, went right back to making BHO and Ice Wax.

Too good to be true? Probably is.

Beautiful Extract CarefulGrower!!

Has anyone ever used a rice cooker to evaporate your solvents?

Here is the Rick Simpson method of making oil, and i dont see why we cant use the same method to make shatter or wax... Any one care to chime in?

It sounds like it could work, but needs to be unplugged during spray/shortly after so you don't ignite it. If the cooker has a vessel that can be removed I would remove it to spray and wait till the liquid butane is gone before returning to the cooker. Don't know how well it regulates temperature but a cheap griddle (george foreman) will hold water @ 120degrees (provided it goes on the griddle at 120) at "warm"/1 fairly easily.

Stole the idea for the pic (gta) off another forum member. My pic though. 3 grams on right 5 on left. Right pile been savaged with dabs.
