Organic Soil, no pH adjustment to the water. No nutrients added to the water...

PLAIN WATER ONLY

Some got more lanky but the reveg really screwed me over with the light height at the beginning...

When I add new plants I will be using blocks to keep them closer to the light until they grow/stretch. The veg tent has a few topped plants in 3 gallon smarties waiting to go in.

The organic soil mix goes 2-4 days between waterings, the small plants in 3 gallons every 6 days right now..that will change now they are getting big.

I'm going by weight, and so far the plants don't seem to mind. I found the earlier plants root systems to be lacking and noticed the lower soil was pretty moist. I think they were over watered, so I have been trying to back off a little and get them in balance.

The 3 gallon pots have roots busting out all over

my plants are also a LOT larger than the ones you did in two gallon containers and require more water. when i fill up a 2 gallon container, i use close to 4 gallons of soil because i compress it quite a bit. these in 2 gallon smart pots grow pretty much the same size as my old 5 gallon bucket plants. part of that is compression of the medium, part is more grow skill now than in the past.

pretty basic really, more input= more output. the phd who teaches agriculture and greenhouse maintenance classes at ohio university teaches to compact soil in containers, his logic is "a plant's roots can break through concrete, so why do we think they can't make it through medium that is full of perlite and/or vermiculite?"

can haz thread update?

The amount of growth she put on in the last 7 days has be really amazing, to the point where she is showing deficiency. So I fed her, no worries. I might even bust out some GH Lucas formula if I need to step it up beyond the biocanna...the soil mix will not support her imo.

Three new ones I put in:

The NL x Skunk is showing signs of photoinhibition because I put a tub under and the PAR was too much...this was only after 48 hours:

I lowered them all down a few inches.

A less serious side:

That is my largest and smallest plant, exact same clone.

This is my final soil-less plant.

Some bud in my jar:

A few of the organic soil plants:

The bud size overall seems to be visibly larger, and more stacked. I hope this is an increase in dry weight also.

what plant is deficient, your og? you should try it doing the soil mix again and adding the rest of the ingredients.

i'm having the same problems with photoinhibition in my grow, i turned half of my LED arrays off (mine has two switches, each turns on four of the arrays) and hopefully they will respond well. i really need to stop being lazy and get my co2 tank filled, i bet that would get my limiting factors back in balance. i am also using 2x400w CMH, so I bet my PAR is ridiculously high. i have noticed that if you miss a watering, even by a few hours, the plants respond a lot more than when i wasn't using LEDs. they don't even have to be to the point of wilting and they react.

most everything looks good though brother, hope it keeps on chugging along!

The haze is getting light in color already, probably from rapid growth. She really bolted the last several days. The LA's that have been in flower for around 5 weeks started eating their fans a bit. I thought it was on the early side, so I fed them too. I am adding more EWC, more rock phos to the mix. The new three gallons made some room for me to do so, the tub was full. I would rather water with biocanna than add dry ferts to the soil mix; I have more control with the water and it's already familiar.

The OGK is a weak plant, still small in solo cups...the ones that made it through the cloning process. A few of them got soft. Compared to the LA and the Haze which clone very easily, I have 3 more Haze cuts in 3 gallon pots vegging. I haven't paid much attention to the skunk yet, but I have 2 of her in flowering now also.

Yea I notice they are very responsive to moisture changes, and overall they take more water than I have experienced in the past. I think this is because of the light intensity, and co2 would probably increase your water needs too. If you can water more then it won't be an issue. The 3 gallon pots water needs already increased noticeably.

Love it, finally going to 3 gallon pots :) Cant wait to see the results of those compared to
the 1gallon pots, 3 gallon is what you need.

1 gallon per month of plant growth, pretty standard. :) Great
thread btw ;)

still lookin' real nice! i've been trimming for a couple nights now, pulled 6 oz from the first three plants that came down. :)
