Awesome thread so far. I am going through the same processes at the same time trying to find an aesthetically pleasing (taste, potency, vapor, color) eliquid with CO2 extract directly out of an extractor. It is stable at room temp, dark in color, and has the consistency of warm mozzerella.
PG works great with minimal separation. but any method of adding vg gives me clumps all over the sides!
Could this be some sort of winterization effect? I'm hoping it is not oil coming out of solution but rather the unnecessary plant mateiral being stripped by the solvent properties of VG?
I am going to try pre-winterizing my oil and then running a batch, I really don't want to add alcohol to the juice at all if necessary.
Does adding alcohol turn PG into PEG?
