Do you guys think I should clone from the the tops or the lowers?

true, I decided to give them more veg time regardless of where I clone from. where would you reccomend cloning from? the VERY bottom? or just not the tops?

I plan to keep vegging and cloning from them, I have a good feeling I am going to find a female worthy of running again. And I want the option of monocropping her if she is good enough... I don't have many runs left at my current location so I need to make each one count. If I find a very nice female and am able to do a monocrop run of her, it would be awesome.

Lol your plants are much bigger than mine, but I get the idea... Ok thanks. I guess I will let them veg til the weekend and see what they look like then...

definitely take the lowers sour, a day or so after a good water/feed....they clone real easy with mine taking between 4-5 days, quickest EVER for me.
Best of luck with it all, glad to see you turned it around in the end and will be blessed with some fine herb for your stash..peace

looking good soursmoker
they really recovered well
i thought they were toast

i would clone from the top
then you can let them veg more throwing out more heads
these will be very stretchy so i advise people to top and train early

peace

Okay so I figured it was smartest to take the creator's advice and I did. Cloned them from the tops... They had already been topped so I got to take two clones from each pheno... Here is what they look like after their haircut...

Hoping the clones root fast. I have started experimenting more with cloning and different methods. I managed to get some pretty impressive roots in under a week with perlite, last time I tried. I tried the same method with these clones... Let's hope I can get similar results.

Still no roots... I am about to take a 2nd round of cuts and try some different methods...

I'll post pics of veg plants tomorrow.

EDIT: It is only day 6 for 1st round of clones.. so they could still pull through, no doubt...

Here are the veggers, I was going to take more clones this morning but didn't get around to it... I will try to get on it, this afternoon...

I am going to try rapid rooter plugs this time instead of my perlite bed... we will see how that works

I am dying to get these clones rooted and in flower! you have no idea how excited I am for these! And they will be perfect to fill my room up!

Check it out... you can't really see but the whole front of the cab is open and waiting for some plants to occupy it. I am just waiting for them to root!!

Hey soursmoker, its nice to watch your grow and its a good plan to fill the whole place with your clones. But as fast
as you would like to have that all done, think at the plants, they need patience sometimes. Six days is very fast for some
strains, I'm always happy, when they show the first real roots after a week...I wish you lots of fun with your grow, let your
plants just get a little bit bigger, so they can stand it much better, when you take a lot of clones. You know how fast they
are stressed...:ying:

Yeah man, I know that one week for rooting is not much at all... I am used to it taking up tp 2-3 weeks to root. I am just trying to insure myself I will have clones within the next 2-3 weeks. If the first round doesn't root then I already have a round 2, half way done.. ya know...

I agree they can be stressed from too much cloning/topping but when I am not going to be flowering out the seed plants, I don't see the problem, as long as I can get some healthy rooted clones!

I appreciate the advice either way, I know you mean well and are only trying to help....

Girls are gettin' their lean on! LOL

Not sure what exactly you mean... but ok. lol

So the veggers were cloned again. 6 of each pheno were put in rapid rooters and I hope to have much better success than with my ghetto bed of hydroton/perlite...

We will see... Plants look bare now but I know they will recover... if not, let's just hope I can get 2 nice clones of each pheno...

To get your lean on means that your rollin with swagger. Like gettn in a car and rollin with the beats bumpin, top down, and leanin to the left with your arm on the window sill, sittin low. Its a good thing.
I seen the girls had a slight lean to them and looked very healthy so it was really a double meaning in a good way. Great Job!

Good luck with the second round of clones SS. Throw up a pic of this "bed of perlite". I've heard of using perlite in popsicle trays but this sounds diff...

Ok well I feel like an idiot...

I put the tray of rapid rooters on top of my 110w PL-L light fixture... I figured the heat would help, not thinking that it is already perfect temp for cloning...

I was a dumbass and didn't check on them the first day...

I look in this morning and they are all wilted over and look dead... Idk what to do...

A humidity dome would help, I think, but this tray didn't come with one and idk what size the tray is...

the rapid rooters looked very dry so i gave em a good watering... I hope this will bring them back...

I feel like a fucking idiot...

Good news is the perlite clones are still perky and look great... No roots yet, I don't think but they will be coming soon...

I checked on the clones of other strains and some were just beginning and others were pretty much fully rooted...

So i think the perlite one's will pull through but I feel like an idiot for wasting all those other clones...

Now my mommas are bare as hell and I have to rely on these clones...

Budelight, I'll try to get a pic up today...

It's simple... a plastic rubbermaid container or something without a lid...

I fill the bottom layer with hydroton but I don't think it is necessary...
