Im using bottled co2. I go threw roughly 2.5 20# tanks for an entire grow,,, veg threw bloom.

I still have 4 UC 1/2 plants to trim, a shit load of dry sticks to finish tomorrow, so final weight will be sometime next week.
I been smokin the shit outta it and the coco is a little sweeter in taste which is usually not present in this strain. Im thinking the organics brought out extra flavors

Ill know for sure after a 2 week cure

Coco table yielded at tad over 3#s coco momma 7.5 oz and the UC is at 3.5#s and counting. I figure the UC about at 3.75#s

All in all its the most Ive got outta the UC 8 site under 2k so I aint complaining. Im thinking with a few tweaks and a little tea in the UC Ill hit the 2#s per 1k Monday Ill have 2 diff phenos of wifi hitting 2 8 UCs gonna make em explode,,, Ill try to get some pics of the wifi in coco now to give an idea of how nasty they are

Wow that is significantly more than the coco. Do you think if you vegged the coco faster (or longer) that they would fill in more and produce more? Or do you think its just the nature of the beast and the UC will always outperform?

Also, what was your final conclusion on the taste/smell differences you mentioned earlier?

BigGreen: are you saying "2 1/2" tanks per cycle? guy at the store told me i would go through 1 1/2 tanks per week..... didn't seem right to me....

also do you have your c02 hooked up to a controller? or regulator/timer?

I think I have more experience with the UC thats why

The taste and smell in the UC is stronger kinda burns the nose hairs when ya smell it. The coco is softer but a little sweetness to it, something I have never gotten from the Frostitute before.

Yes 2 1/2 tanks per grow cycle thats veg and bloom about 11-12 weeks. Im using an sentinell cppm 1

Led never grown the Wifi before. Banging it in some coco right now and it looks killer

Ill try to get some pics of it, busy rebuilding the UC room there a few little adjustments that Im hoping get me to the 2# per

do you see a advantage in adding c02 into the room around wk4 12/12 on 10-14wk strains? that most likely when I'll be able to set it up.

In my honest opinion I think co2 is most beneficial in veg where you get some exploded growth!! I will use co2 through the whole cycle on my next round but I'm not 100% sold that co2 increases flower size?

I followed theherbalizor grow a while back. 9 plants in 3 gallon smart pots filled with coco. 3-4 different strains. A 5x5 tent, two 600w gavita's and one 300w gavita plasma. Feed full H&G nutes feed 5-6 times during lights on. He only used fresh air intake/exaust and made some seriously monster cola's!!! Total weight from the 9 plants. 4.4 lbs!!!! Fucking crazy. He figured if he had used all one strain he could have hit 5 lbs.

I'm 2 weeks away from finishing off my grow. Then we will know if this Aptus is all its cracked up to be. I know for next round I will use heavy 16 during flower. Haven't decided if I will stick with Aptus or go another route?

Thanks for the advice..... I'm planning on running heavy 16 also....i was thinkinking about running h&g until i read jacks comments about it.... (nothing bad, just he had better results with canna/h16)

Why do you plan on switching from h16?

I used H&G aqua flakes this round. Plan on trying heavy 16 on the next round to see if there's any difference in yield and quality??

Im running H&G full line right now in 5 and 7 gal smart pots. I want to see what it can do by itself. The aptus for me is to much work. Its an extra day I have to be there and Im trying to free up time

I would definitely add co2 at week 4 on a 10 -12 week strain.
Led I was getting big ass colas without co2 for years but when I added co2 I got more big ass colas. Usually I would get about 1 per plant that was really big, this run I got 3 or 4 huge colas per plant + a shit load of 16 inchers

Do you think the difference in yield was due to the UC plants being twice as tall and thus filling in double the cubic footage?

I'm curious how it would compare in you didn't train the two sides differently.

Either way, beautiful grow. You seem to know your way around that strain.

Love to see updates on your new grow bro! SO you ditching the smaller 3 gallons pots you used in this grow and running bigger smart pots now? How many plants per table?

SO I've been doing a TON of reading and I really do think the extra feeds during lights on is what makes some coco grows more successful than others. My next round I will feed 3 times a day during veg and then 6 times a day during flower. All that extra O2 roots will receive from the increased feeds will make the coco respond more like your UC system. Hundred Gram OZ is getting 9 ounces per plant in 1.5 gallon pots feeding 5 times during lights on, and TheHerbalizor is getting 9+ ounces per plant in 3 gallon smart pots feeding 6 times a day WITH NO CO2!!!!:bigeye: pretty crazy numbers!!!

I too am thinking of ditching the Aptus and running Canna Coco nutes with maybe just some bloom booster in flower and some Silica with weekly tea and sea green added with the tea. No more running sea green separately and Aptus separately. That would eliminate 2 days of hand feeding which save a TON of time!!

Or run the full H&G line up which can all b run through drippers and still once a week tea..... But like you said, gotta make things easier!!!!

talk to nature about that

big green didnt you chop a bunch off the coco plants and not the uc? you dont think that affected yield? really nice grow btw, whats your take on the aptus? i got some really cheap so im gunna try it jacks setup seems to kill it with aptus but others ive seen run it dont seem to get the early stacking he reports, and the yield increases, everyone reports great quality tho, what are your thoughts

I took the coco plants down first then the UC two days later. I just think the coco didnt yield as well because that was my first real run with it.
The quality from the aptus is great just didnt hit the yields I would of liked

The 7 and 5 gallon pots of coco are a different room. Theres 2 trays on the floor. There hand watered daily. 7 plants in one tray and 6 in the other. Plants are banging healthy as can be.
Some day Ill take some pics but wayyyy to busy right now

The room you see is now 2 UCs floor planks with wheels
