Its been so hard with all this beautiful weather trying to wait for June 1st to move them outside. Does anyone here garden at all? I've had all my seedlings in starter pots for a month now and they're screaaaaming to go outside.... squash, corn, lettuce, onions, potatoes, peas, herbs, hot peppers, cant wait to watch them grow! When do you guys start your outdoor gardens, anyone on here into that?

I'm in your same boat. started all my veggies inside last month in containers. I've been taking them outside during the day when it's sunny. But for the most part they are staying inside rite by my sliding glass door that gets direct sunlight most the day

Seeing as we're getting rain for a couple days I think this weekend will be great to get some of the bigger seedlings into the garden. Can't wait to pick fresh peas and tomatoes all summer

Cannot say how excited i am for a few of this years festivals... ziontific, harrys, possibly harmony if not sched conflict, an then ny harvest. Gonna be a great year.....b-safe.

you guys are funny. i had to tell the wife NO MORE VEGGIE PLANTS until the ganja is outside lol shes stealin all my light

yea we got about 5x10' of veggies cant wait to do the potatoes, summer squash, tomatoes, acorn squash!!... i did 3 acorn squash plants inside 1 45gal smartpot and yieled 30+ heads last year... took up one whole dome greenhouse 120sqft

o and i really cant wait to do the carrots this year i got a 1000gal all ready first i do spinach then a batch of carrots in her...

pretty much ill be taking all my old soil from last year and using it for raised bed veggie gardens

try taking some potatoes and lay them on the bottom of a trash barrel keep adding soil let them grow right up and out. you will yield 50+ lbs off 1 45gal trash barrel. drill a bunch of holes so its like a giant air pot.

Haha oh squash... so I don't have much gardening experience so I go and pop 4 of those burpee seed bags full, then I'm outside last night reading the directions on planting and it says only 3 plants per hill every couple feet, before I know it I've filled up the entire area I tilled with only squash, so now I have to go out and tear up the rest of the hillside just to make room. I only have a pick axe and rake to work with, not rich enough right now to buy a roto tiller, so god damn its gonna be a long week of turning the soil. I guess it will all be worth it when I have food for the entire year canned and stored in the basement.

So Aero, you just just buy a regular bag of potatoes from the store and fill up the bottom of the trash can? How do they grow up and out if the sides are shielding the plants from direct sunlight?

Also looking forward to getting some livestock going on, the property I just bought has a barn so I've been putting money aside for some chickens, pigs, goats, meat rabbits, maybe even a cow or 2 if I feel extra motivated. At least I'd never have to buy fertilizer again haha

I threw it on the scale today and it was a nice round 28g. Been curing for a few days and its starting to smell nice and Lime / Cheesy. Really excited about how potent it came out. I also had another plant in there under the same 150hps that weighted out an extra 23g.
