Going to get pics up this week.. Need to get a memory card for my camera. Phone takes shit pics that arent even worth posting... You guys have any suggestions on taking out fungus gnats? I got a pretty good infestation going at the moment... Doesnt seem to be effecting health or growth on the plants but still gross! When I handwater they just all scatter like fruit flys. I got sticky traps hung and also one ontop of each pot which is working but there is still a lot of em'.

Skeeter dunks from Home Depot or Lowe`s......Crumble em up on top of the containers and water em in......

Got the same ingredient as "Gnatrol"WDG/water dispersion granules with BTI and will fuck up their day.....

Keep the sticky traps up to know when they`re gone.....

Good luck....DHF....:ying:.....

We crush dunks into a fine powder & add to reservoir every couple of weeks.

Don't let the infestation get bad tyga. Fungus gnats make life great for aphids, they weaken the root system and before u know it there's serious problemo. Try spreading out your waterings as much as possible, you don't want the coco to be habitable for the little bastards. Do this, along with some form of BTI, for a couple weeks and it'll be under control. Then just BTI every couple weeks should keep em down & outa town.

Nice man. Why did u decide to run some lamps horizontal? That p98-cross is fucking massive bro, props man, that girl looks like she could be outside.

Seeing why I hate the floppy flapping poly yet? It's worth it to drop $100 on reflective foam board, you'll never look back. And are u on concrete slab in that room? If so I would pull the poly off the floor, but I guess that ones more a personal issue.. I always found it to get gunked up and dirtied really fast, not to mention it can be slippery.

Anyways, looks great bro & can't wait to see some flowers in ur room. (ps - check out the CAP wall fans, they oscillate and pivot up and down, so awesome, I just installed 6)

Oh one other thing, maybe the most helpful hint...

I see you are using a zipper door, and I'm sure your noticing the issues of moving things in and out of the zipper slit.. Not so easy, eh?

Use 2 zippers & some Velcro above the door frame. This will allow you to roll up a flap as big and wide as the door frame... Start the work day, flap gets rolled up outa the way, finish the work day and the flap gets rolled down and zipped tight.

LMAO... You hit the fucking nail on the head with both those issues. Will fix the door soon... And the reflective board will be thrown up after this run.. Funds are hella tight at the moment. But ya the floor drives me absolutley nuts. Its working good for the walls and the ceiling though. What kind did you end up going with?

I used to have my poly the same way..Drove me nuts..I have the reflective insulation board now and i painted white wherever possible.I put a piece of the insulation board under every 10 gal smart pot..works great and is MUCH cleaner. No more poly on the floor either.I found that to be total overkill.

Tyga the girls look terrific :)

4x8 sheets are like $12-14 at home depot. I've been spending the weekend building shelves for the dehumidifier & running pump lines for a/c condensation and the dehumidifier collection. God it's nice only having plants on the ground.

Oh ya, I've also been finishing off the last wall & ceiling with the foam board. I've been putting r13 insulation in all the walls, so combined with the foam board I bet I'm getting a really nicely insulated room put together here... Keep that AC working less

Scooping up a Dri-Eaz Dehumidifier tommorow to bring the RH down now since the cola's are really starting to develop... Blumats are starting to piss me off! Can't seem to get it dialed in.. Ive had some not want to close and come home too 20+ gallons on the floor or some just don't want to open and come home to some droopy ass plants! Need some sort of DIY top fed drip system

Not sure what model you're going to get but based on grownerds posts I will would not get a 1200 unless it was like $500 or something.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=215600&page=2

"Dri-Eaz DrizAir 1200 - Tried to find a used Santa Fe, failed; found this instead (CL); was fooled into thinking that it was a comparable unit to the Santa Fe Classic based on my misunderstandings on DH specs. If you can get it for the right price and power isn't a huge concern, it can be okay. If you're trying to spend the same dollar scale on this unit as a Santa Fe, don't."

I would get an evolution 292 though or a 2000 used if I found one.

Not really trying to steer you away from whatever you want, just relaying some info.

What kind of humidity levels are you getting? I'm hitting 60 lights off with a little soleus unit.

Still shopping myself, probably gonna get a sante fe or phoenix or evolution.

If you buy used clean that bitch good so you don't introduce pathogens into your grow environment.

Peace!

I would handwater but then I would literally have to be there every single day no days off! And thats just to god damn stressful... Lol. I picked up the Dri-Eaz LGR 1200 today... 2200 hours on it but got her for $300... So its worth it even if it only lasts me a run... Then I can upgrade to my Sante Fe classic :)
But yes Third coast she is going to get a good ole' clean down tommorow before she steps foot in the room. My RH is about 65% lights on & 80% lights off. But thats with no dehumidifier whatsoever... So the dehue probably won't have to work all that hard to reach levels of my liking. Which is good cause that power bill has been killing the wallet lately.

Need some sort of DIY top fed drip system

Might I suggest you continue to use your elevated blumat res for a gravity fed drip system using a solenoid and short cycle timer. That's what I've been doing for the tree section of my room. You'd just setup a normal style drip system with a 1/2 or 3/4" manifold line feeding 1/4' open ended lines to each plant. Instead of a pump you connect a solenoid to your elevated res which feeds into the manifold line. The timer opens the solenoid for say 30 secs (or how ever long you want to feed for) then closes. Gravity carries nutrient solution from the elevated res down through the solenoid, into the manifold line, up and out the 1/4" lines to the plants. As long as you do this on a flat surface and have sufficient flow in the manifold, all plants will get very close to equal fed each time. Essentially you would just remove your blumats and replace them with 1/4" open ended lines, then add a solenoid valve right after your elevated res. :tiphat:

I sorta know what your talking about... So basically leave the blumats connected but open them up all the way so they work basically just as a feed tube. Not quite sure what a solenoid is... Do you have any pics of your set up? I feel that I get the concept... Just not to sure on the solenoid part.
