International Clone Only cuts in the UK

Done a bit more reading, looks like there's conflicting info:

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the forum cut is not the original. It's probably a s1. The south florida og is different from the larry/ha. The florida foxtails and puffs out, more pods like sour d. The larry/ha cut is more dense rock hard pinecone buds. The king henry is a beast and yields 2 a light easily, but the og smell is a little diminished. The weird leaves come from that f1 durb, which i told you guys was described as a durban poison crossed with something with the same lineage as blueberry. There is no cherry pie in my cut. Cherry pie has a distinct overwhelming smell and taste. The forum cut is super frosty, but it lacks that knock you out potency and creamy mint smell. The reason so many cuts are floating around is many dispensaries wanted to capitalize on the strain because no one has it. They found some hermie seeds and popped them and sold cuts.

Peace

n to TOPPIN, u alright too bro? o ok i thought the thin mints cut was a cut[ of the GS Cookies og n is only in clone form? no? im only human tho so i could be mistaken :smoke:

Yes trichomeconsumR im good thank mate.

There from cali connections gs cookies (thin mint) S1's. Well thats what they are said to be from there description but you never know in this game also iv got the "cup winning gs cookies (forum cut)" + animal cookies (recreation) from BCBD but i here nothing but bad things about them. After i got the BCBD seeds i found out that they stole the picture in there discription from someone here at ic not sure who it was thou

I'm really not trying to summon the "Neg-rep fairy" I'm just wondering:

I heard that due to all the homozygous and co-dominant traits in GSC that S1's were just a spectrum of various characteristics without much consistency?
I thought that was one of the reasons it was clone only and not easy to get in seed form?

Also I'm sure it's an excellent strain but it can't be that good can it?
There's so many threads about it!

If it is I want some :smokeit:

Even if it's not the apparent diversity of S1's would make it worth getting just for the range of phenotypes in the offspring :p

its in clone form for the same reason any other clone only exists. s1s are generally sought after by people who want to experience it but cannot get hold of the clone only.

I suppose so I prefer seeds for the longevity, practicality and legality of them but I'd totally love to get any of the cuts mentioned in this thread just to see what the exact genetic expression was that had made it so big... Though the next thing I'd do would be make f1's, s1's and clones to try and recreate it in seed form ;-) or perhaps tweak it slightly :p

s1's are only any good if they're from ibl strains. apart from that selfing a polyhybrid like GSC to find a pheno identical to mother is a waste of time imo.

s1's are the start of any IBL line where you only have one plant to work from :p
If you don't have other f1's available or they don't posses the characteristics you want then selfed seeds and backcrossings are the way to create a line of plants and hopefully narrow the phenotypic range towards your intended goal (though hopefully without losing the variation of certain alleles whose co-dominance is important to the key characteristics of the original plant).
I'm not saying it's an easy task or one everyone should undertake but all IBLs start somewhere :p they are not born but made :p

Even if s1s/f1s are nothing like the mother, I would've thought they'll still throw some interesting yet varied phenos given the pedigree of Cherry Pie, F1Durban & OG.

Oh yeah I totally agree, I'd love to get some, cherry pie it looks gorgeous all on it's own :) Durban and OG can just add some variety to it ;-)

most breeders ive spoken to say that selfing would be the best bet in preserving a plant in seed form. thats the route i would go down . but tbh genetics is not my forte.

nice one mate. u got any links i havent seen his cut yet?

tbh it seems pretty rare.. I know it won second prize at a high times cup for best hybrid. but this is apparently kk's mother they selected. its the same one a couple of breeders here at icmag use.

but I cant find pics.
