On the outlet put on hot to the hot and one hot to the neutral. Then wire them to the breaker. That is actually the way you are supposed to do it.

You guys got any idea for a filter/ fan combo for my room? I was going to go with a can100 and an 8in fan but recently used the calculator on phresh filters site and they reccomend a filter of 1400CFM which seems outrageous... Cant even find a fan that can pull that much air... Nor do I want it to sound like an airplane engine in the room.

Hmm I've always used a couple 6" fans and like 3' tall scrubbers, don't remember the model number. I have an unused 10", which is probably around that 1400 CFM, can't remember either, that I will probably throw up in the new setup. We've been talking for ages about going seriously overkill on the scrubber, and now that the new room is up might as well.. Just won't have to run her 24/7, which is nice.

How's ur build going bro? I just worked a couple 12 hr shifts on Saturday and Sunday, and good lord it paid off!! I got my wall knocked down between rooms, poly removed, hoods and ducts down, reflective foam board glued in, verts dropped, 3-ton mini-split hung/placed, piped & wired up and running! It's a whole different level brother man....

Room be up and rockin tommorow.. AC is in place and turnttt up!! Just gotta finish some small odds and ends but everything is in place... Will report tommorow with pics.
I got a question about a carbon filter though... The one I want suggests 1400CFM... Will I loose a lot of efficiency out of it if I am only pulling about 1000CFM threw it? Also O dont feel like buying a huge inline when I already have a 6in and 8in lying around. Any problems in mounting it like...
Filter-->8in fan-->8-6in duct reducer--> 6in fan?
Basically stacking the 2 fans to combine the CFM's?

What's up Tyga? I checked out that phresh filter site and I'm thinking they are talking about exhausting a room. With sealed rooms I don't think the need is the same.

Got my breeze hooked up and running as well. Like it so far for the most part. A more detailed manual would sure be nice though.

Good to hear man! I need to finish up that tutorial... I lost the remote to the AC and had to wait a week to get the replacement in. Got it in today and that bitch blows some serious air on "turbo"! My nips were rocks within a few minutes ahaha.

Gonna try it and see what happens, Looking at a 3000 cfm exhaust fan for the gable. That would exchange the air more than three times a minute. If it gets over 110 I'll move it outside.

Actually, it will probably go outside anyway. This is more of a test to see if it is feasible. I think it can be done, some say no way. We'll see.

I was looking at a warehouse mill type spot for awhile and was thinking the same thing as keeping the condenser inside... Best of luck to ya. Worse case scenario is it doesn't work and you move it outside.

I've run several condensers inside a room. Just make sure you have an intake exhaust setup and it works just fine

Good choice on the friedrich too, nearly bullet proof units

You guys got any experience with non-commercial type dehue's? I gotta feeling the AC isn't going to cut it... But don't exactly have $1500 to shell out on a sante fe at the moment... I assume 13x13 room would need atleast atleast a 70pint/day..... That 109 pint/day would work out a little better but that just not gunna fit the bill this round.

I got a 70 pint that I run in my 10x12, I have it hanging from bungees draining into a bucket that I pump out as necessary. Plan on automating that process with a sump pump in an 18 gallon tote. It keeps up with the humidity but creates a ton of heat. Hope this info helps.

Ur bare bulbs + a/c should be zapping moisture outa the air bro.

Not at night in a sealed room... Go big or go home. I bought 1 200 pint drizair for $450 used and the other for $350. You might get lucky searching craigslist, I did 2x. I bought one of them from a carpet cleaning service, the other was in a mechanics garage and they had no use for it.

Yeah my AC is not going to cut it at all... I checked CL but no luck.. Might start looking in surrounding states also because if I can save $800 by getting a used one it will def be worth a few hour drive in my eyes. Lights on RH is about 68% which is pretty ideal for right now since they are just hitting flower and going threw the stretch. But in 2-3 weeks it wont be acceptable so I gatta figure something out...

when u went barebulb vert did ur temps go up or down without using reflectors and such? im thinking about going barebulb vert but if my temps go up anymore ill be in the need of a mini split.. and dont have the cash for it.. so any idea if the same exhaust system with barebulbs would gain or lower the heat?
