Bug.... As far as seeds , you'd have to ask Puma . not sure if there are any left or not .
1000 ppms is as far as I go with nutes , anymore than that & I usually get burn .
I don't like the sounds of your PH drift you were talking about . if your PH is not in the right range .... your plants don't get the nutes when they need them .

while i'm here ......
I got the rooms all cleaned up & ready for the next round . I need the veg room to veg out my 6 sour powers for a couple weeks & that meant moving the tigers over to the big room . They needed a trimming anyway , so i moved them .

heres a before & after pics of the tigers .
17 days from the 12/12 switching of the lights .

Tomorrow I'll get a couple pics of the brain freeze for ya to check out .
things are just cruising along pretty good here . temps are finally getting where i've got some tester seeds going , now to see if they survive from here on out .

thats it for tonight guys , catch ya tomorrow :tiphat:

hey i really like those cages dans. I recently bought the circular tomato cages that start small at the bottom and get larger at the top. Well they were too big for my lights, and the bottoms being so small were hard to attach to an already vegged plants. Where did you get those " square" cages. I have seen three fold cages that make a triangle but never four folds that make a square. Very nice.

btw. my goal is to try and make individual SCROGs for each pot. I often have plants of many stages and sizes. So individual scrogs makes much easier for watering, harvesting, etc..

Pulled 2 of the Brain freeze out tonight to get a few pics . they're small enough so it was no problem .
they're at 27 days today . theres a big difference in size compared to the tigers ... but i started these as 12 clones on the slabs , till the dudes decided to show up . i took the last 5 & transplanted them into 2 gallon pots & put'em back into flower . so that mighta stalled them for a few days .
I'm thinking ...LUI dominant , but i've never grown the LUI & the cindy looks a lot different , these look more indica .
you tell me ....

Hey Dan.. I noticed you use drippers for some of your coco pots? I have a drip system I built for like 6-8 plants I believe.. forgot exactly but anyways at what frequency do you run yours at? I also have a built 3x3 flood n drain table that I haven't put to use.. your giving lots of good ideas on what to do with it.. as I'll b ordering my new second 600w hps system soon :D

talk about some bomb ass lookin plants.. lol you deff. ain't fuckin around Dan:respect:... If I could pull plants that looked like that on the regular I would be stress free :ying:

^^what he said x5. It's amazing how therapeutic it is to check on your girls and have them all look amazing, every day.

Keep it up Dan. I am wondering if you have any problems with different flow rates on open lines? I think I remember you having a pretty small pump also.. 264? Because someone I know is trying to run your set up with a 396, and some pots get a lot more then others. Same length of lines, etc.

Thanx MW :)

Is his 1/2" line in a loop ? that makes a big difference with the line pressure . & i'm switching to the 396's myself , i have replaced the 2 for the flower room but the veg room is still on a 264 .

This is the line i have for the slabs & you can see what i mean about a loop . you have the line coming from the rez to the tray..... then it fits into a T and loops around for even pressure at each port . i have noticed that at each port in the 1/2 line can build up crap & clog , which is why i clean them each run & replace fittings & lines if needed . oh ... one more thing ... make sure theres no kinks in the 1/2" line in the trays , that will slow down the pressure too . nice round corners :)

Hey man, yeah it's a perfect circle loop in the middle of the tray with twelve 1/4 lines coming off of it, about 6'' apart each. It looks identical to yours for the most part. At first we thought 12 were too many, but 3 of those are actually capped off. So maybe thinking about adding a valve on each 1/4 line to control it or something.. that or a bigger pump. Like a shurflow or something, even though it's less gph I think those have pressure? hmm..

Hmmmmm. could be alot of things . check all the 1/4" fittings , especially the ones coming from the 1/2" line . how far is the pump from the plants ? if its a pretty long run ... then i'd say yeah up the pump size .

Finally did it :)

I run a similar loop, but with PVC. I had one of my drippers not dripping at equal pressure no matter how far I opened the valve. Replaced the 1/4" line, and back to full flow. Need to put a filter before my pump to prevent blockages.

The hose from the pump is short, maybe 5 feet, and the res is maybe a foot lower then the manifold. All of it is bran new. We'll check those lines again, thanks guys!

make sure you've got free flow fittings on the 1/2" line to 1/4" line & not the 1 or 2 GPH emitters . that will make a difference in the flow rate too . i made that mistake once :)

So you had some plants start flowering on you on a 24hr light cycle?

I got some males that I have growing right now and the guys are starting to put out flowers, its just from the preflower locations but its making me wonder why are they doing this?
